This company moved furniture for a small 3 bedroom house. The move required transfer from the suburbs to a location on a mountain near the Shenandoah National Park. The road to the house is a gravel road with major switchbacks ending in a narrow driveway. The home is a small 100-year-old house with narrow stairs and small rooms. Another company refused to even give me an estimate.
The crew was exceptional to work with. They were more than competent at performing the basics; packing up all the furniture and brick-a-brack. The more challenging task, and the most worrisome for me was that of ascending the mountain in a 26 foot truck. What impressed me most about the movers (literally two marines and a truck) was their professionalism, their outstanding communication skills, their organization and their committment to getting it right; all of which they carried out with an air of "can-do" and cheerfullness. They kept up a blistering pace and given that they were paid by the hour, I certainly got my money's worth.

Two Marines and a Truck sent two marines to help my wife and I load up two storage units we were renting and move the contents to our new home in Reston. I was given an estimate over the phone based on information I provided and the gentleman who provided the estimate was spot on. Within a few minutes of booking their service, I received an email confirmation with all the details of the move. I was told that I would receive a phone call the day prior to confirm, I did. I was told the crew leader would call me the morning of the move about 30 minutes prior to their arrival, he did. In fact, these guys were so punctual, they were waiting on me, but their clock did not start until I got to the storage facility 10 minutes late. The guys did an excellent job packing the truck, were very polite and professional and took extra care to ensure the fragile items we were concerned with were well padded. The unloading went just as fast and not a thing was broken! Excellent service, would definitely recommend them and use them again if/when I need a mover.
