I had not gotten my hair highlighted in months. Kaivan made my hair look like a million dollars and has an amazing personality! By far the best hair stylist I have ever been too. I am so happy that I finely found a hair stylist with a wonderful attitude. Couldn't be happier. Robin did my makeup and it looked beautiful. Her makeup tips are great so make sure and see her after you get your done. They are two wonderful people to be around and make you feel right at home. Overall I give this salon 5 stars!

After several years with the same stylist, I wanted to try something different (fully expecting to return to my stylist after this one venture out!)... Robin changed my cut and suggested a different color and highlights from what I had.... I loved the results, but waited 3 weeks to write this review in case I became less satisfied as my hair grew out... Well, I still love everything about my hair!... the color is perfect for me and the cut is easy to style (and not boring!)... The price was great and Robin was charming and professional... I will definitely return and recommend her to anyone...

I found Robin after moving to Dallas and doing an internet search for 'short hair best salon'. Her name came up over and over, so I decided to take a chance. My hair has a lot of texture and is very thick, so people always end up making me look like a soccer mom (I am 27 and want fun hair, not a mushroom head!)

Well, no soccer mom here! Not only did Robin do a great job on the cut, but she did fantastic highlights that people always ask me about. The second appointment I made was short notice, but Kaivan made time to fit me in at the end of the night. He did a great job as well- now I don't know who to ask for when I call! These two do a great job with hair, and are great people to talk to! I highly recommend them both!!!

i have a mix of african hair which is very curly at the roots and had been previously using the "Brazilian Blowout" treatment, which worked for awhile but my past hairdresser did the treatment in a way that was damaging my hair. I went to Robin for help and she told me about this new product called "Rusk" and she said she would use this on my hair instead of the "Brazilian" when she did the treatment she did it in a way that was not damaging my hair... Robin is a life/hair saver!

went in for color and cut. then back for extentions LOVE THEM !! (its been over a month no problems they still look awesome i am soooo happy) Robin did a great job, great prices, and friendly people. love this place.

I'd been doing my own hair and going to cheap stylists for color, and finally decided to get my hair back to its original color professionally by someone with good ratings.

Kaivan filled in the weird stripes of old highlights before doing all over color (something the other stylists never did) and got the one blonde chunk I wanted to keep to an even blonde. This is how I wanted my hair to look the FIRST time I did it. It finally looks right.

Besides the haircut/color, it was also just a great atmosphere. Everyone was friendly and accommodating. I was offered a drink, Kaivan and Robin made conversation and introduced me to the others in the salon. All the other clients seemed to be regulars, and I'll probably become one too.

Kaivan & Robin are a breath of fresh air in a town full of pretentious, over-priced salons. Robins technique for highlights results in the most natural looking results I have ever had. Kaivan studies his clients and how your hair reacts to color and cut and skillfully provides a great cut & color. His prices are more than reasonable for the skill level that he has achieved. My cut & color last longer than ever before. The best part is that going to an appointment is like going to visit friends. I have referred them to other people and all have become repeat clients.

AFTER SERVERAL BAD HAIR SITUATION'S I FOUND KAIVAN.EVERYONE WAS SO FRIENDLY AND GO OUT OF THEIR WAY TO MAKE YOU FEEL SPECIAL.I LOVE MY CUT&COLOR!!!!!MY HUSBAND HAS HAD THE SAME HAIR CUT FOR 20 YEARS.ONCE HE SAW WHAT A GREAT JOB KAIVAN DID ON MY HAIR ,HE LET KAIVAN CUT HIS HAIR RIGHT THERE ON THE SPOT .ROBIN AND KAIVAN ARE SUCH A GREAT TEAM.I LOOK FORWARD TO MY NEXT APPOINTMENT.

I have always had excessively thick hair. I was always embarassed by it while growing up. I couldn't do anything with it. My Grandma was the only one that could do anything with it and believe me I have been to lots of salons. My Grandma isn't able to do it anymore. I am 22 years old and wear my hair in a pony tail because it is just horrible to try to fix on my own. Robin saved me from a life as an old maid. I went in and she immediately sat me down and ask what I had in mind and I told her I just wanted to be able to wash it and fix it myself. She thinned and styled it I I was shocked. She spent a lot of her valuable time showing me how to wash and dry it for maximum effect. That was 2 weeks ago and I can now do my own hair and even am trying to become a flirt. Maybe someday I will even have a boyfriend...LOL...Thanks Robin. I just cannot tell you what you have meant to my life...You're great and have a very handsome Husband. Watch out I may take him from you now with my new hairstyle...LOL...(just kidding)

I have been all over the metroplex over the years getting haircuts, Due to massive cowlicks I had never found anyone that seemed to know how to cut my hair and make is look decent. I always wore caps and hats. Then a friend reccomended Kaivan to me and I thought okay another one bites the dust but man was I wrong. In 47 years this is the best haircut I have ever had. His wife Robin was awesome also. They make a really great team. Thanks Kaivan, I will reccomend you to everyone I know and BTW. I am throwing out all caps and hats...WooooHooo!!!

You know you can change your clothes if you don?t like them, but when your hair doesn?t look good and/or the color is just not right, you?re in a mess.

I met Robin several months ago during the process of trying to keep my hair from falling out and/or breaking off due to someone else?s mistake. Because I am a lay person relative to hair, I was truly concerned that I might need to check into what it took to get a really good wig and wear it until my hair could grow back. Well, thank goodness I learned that my hair could be saved without taking such drastic steps.

The person that came to my rescue is Robin of Kaivan & Robin Hairstyles. She took a horrible mess and actually made it look good. She has continued to take care of my hair, and my hair has continued to get healthier and stronger.

Robin is an exceptional hair stylist with the gift of knowing the most becoming hairstyles and colors for an individual.

Thank goodness for Robin! She saved the day for me!

I found Robin through another friend, and I'm glad I did! I had previously been traveling from Dallas to Ft. Worth to my old stylist. Not only, was the gas killing me, his color had become bad, bad!! Robin got it right the very first time, and as a bonus, I got a fabulous cut as well. She and Kaivan are precious together and do consult with each other about their clients' needs. I would not hesitate in recommending these guys to any one!

Kaivan has been doing my hair for over a year. He is the best stylist I have ever gone to. He is from the UK so he uses many European techniques. I could rave on forever but you would think he paid me for this review. If you come to Kaivan one time you will fall in love with his all around technique whether he is doing color, cutting or all around styling.

Robin has never done my hair but she and Kaivan actually discuss their clients together and what looks best on them. She offers her opinion and she is always right. I have seen her work and she is incredible. Especially when working with extensions and long hair.

These two are the best team ever. They are like family with their clients. I love them both.

I was wanting to cut off several inches and I am very particular about who cuts and colors my hair. I went to Kavian and Robin's Salon and I have never gotten so many compliments on my hair before! Thumbs up to the dynamic duo!!!! They are the best!!

After years with the Lover's Lane/Park Cities crowd, I just couldn't afford the aging old guard stylists any more. Kaivan gave me a great new color and look that all my friends have raved about. He is as technically skilled and creatively gifted as any hairdresser I've seen from LA to NY. And girls, YOU know the difference! Don't spend another weekend with that sad color. Go see these two --- they are terrific!!

I needed a change. I spoke with Kaivan about my hair color and he helped me decide on hilites. He did an awesome job and gave me a variety off different shades and tones..I have dark hair and the hlites look amazing.They are not brassy at all and look wonderful! Thanks Kaivan. I came to Robin because I had gone to a local school to get my hair done. Needless to say it was horrible. I am a redhead with blonde highlights. I ended up with pink hair and orange highlights! My niece was getting married that weekend and I was completely panicked. A friend of mine had told me about Robin and her husband and the salon they worked at. I decided to give it a try. Robin and her husband along with the owner of the salon consulted with me and in about 2 hours I had the best color of my life. Kaivan, Robin's husband cut my hair into a fashionble bob and I left there knowing I looked great. My nieces wedding went off without a hitch and I didn't look like something out of the circus! I have been a constant client for 4 months now and couldn't be happier! Thanks guys! You've made me feel special with out putting me into bankruptcy!

Robin by far has given me the best extensions yet! In the past my hair ends up falling out or breaking. Now I don't have to deal with any of that. If you need great professional extensions Robin knows what she is doing!

I have found my new home! I have been all over Dallas and listened to a lot of people tell me where I should go for a stylist. Well look no more! Kaivan is my guy. He actually listens to what I ask him to do and Wala it is done! My highlights always look even and he takes his time to make sure my cut is perfect. NO in and out chop shop. Just as a side note he is from Eruope and has an accent you could listen to for days. It reminds me of those old Man of the Month books we all used to read. Anyway, LOVE YOU KAIVAN! Thanks for making me look my best even when my husband doesn't notice! :)

Robin has been coloring my hair for over 2 years. I am very picky and have been to the best stylist wherever I have lived. I decided to go blonde from a dark brunette. I get rave reviews from everyone on my hair. My hair is also curly and she cuts it beautifully.

I would not go anywhere else. EVER!!!

I'm no spring chicken! I have fought thin, flat, straight, lifeless, cow-licky hair all my life. Kaivan knows just how to cut and color to hide my flaws! He helps me stay within my hair-care budget and look good, too! He and Robin are just great to be around and I think you should give them a try!

I have been going to Kaivan for about a year now. I will not let anyone but either he or Robin do my hair. My hair is extremely thick and when it is long it takes an hour to do in the morning. For a long time every stylist that I went to told me that I could not have short hair (below my shoulders) because it would make my face look heavier. So I went to Kaivan and told him my situation. Since I am a new mom I don't have time to do my hair and I constantly looked like a street urchin. He took the time to listen to me and when I casually stated that I liked a certain hair cut he took great interest in giving me that hair cut. However, he made some changes to it and I have to say that if I would have got what I asked for I probably wouldn't have been nearly as happy with it. At work everyone loves my hair and now I find that half of the girls that I work with went and got their hair done like mine. Now, instead of being a street urchin, I am the trend setter. Not only does my hair look great short, but I had fun getting it done. As women, we all know that we don't just go to a salon to look great, but we go to get away from our everyday hassles. Kaivan is extremely funny and both Kaivan and Robin are some of the most interesting individuals that I know. I highly recommend both of them for both talent and personality.

I meet Robin and Kavin about a year and a half ago. She was doing my daughter's hair. My daughter recommended Robin and Kavin as I am very picky about who does my hair. She did a tremendous job of cutting and coloring my hair. Then one day Kavin did my hair and I must say that they are the "Dynamic Duo of Hair".

My hair is really thin on top and I could never get it to look the way I wanted it to. I went to see Robin to see if she had and suggestions about a style to make it look thicker on top. She suggested extensions on top . I always thought extensions were for long hair but hey, I was willing to try anything. She put extensions in and WOW!!! was all I could say...All of a sudden I had the hair I remembered when I was young. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you is all I could say. Robin is great, She takes the time to listen and is very knowledgeable about hair skin and makeup.

I've been going to Robin for almost a year now and I refuse to let ANYONE else touch my hair from now on. The first time I came to her I had no idea what I wanted to do to my hair I just wanted something extremely different. My hair was so boring long, wavy and plain old brown. No highlights, no low lights and nothing special. It wasn't even shiny. Now my hair is this brilliant red with high lights, low lights, bright lights (if there is such a thing) bottom line is she made me look like a completely different person and my hair FINALLY matched me. Thanks Robin.
