I copy-pasted my review from "Salon Bella Mia Tanning Day" to ensure that noone else makes the mistake of going here.

This place is absolutely horrid. I used to get my waxes there, and my aesthetician was great. After moving from Monterey, CA, it took me forever to find a good aesthetician. However, after having only had two appointments(so about a two month time span), my aesthetician left and the salon neglected to notify me or any of their clients of the fact that their only aesthetician had left. The new aesthetician was extremely rude, impersonal, and did a horrible job(I had black and blue bruises all over the waxed area). Obviously I wasn't happy about having to go back, but it was my only option besides Gene Juarez($90 for a wax instead of $50). I called a week before my next wax was due(about four or five weeks after the disaster wax with the new, rude, inexperienced aesthetician). The phone just kept ringing and noone picked up. I called three times per day after that, for the full week until my wax was due. Finally, on the date I had wanted to schedule my appointment for, I decided to just drop by the salon(to see if maybe they had changed their phone number and could squeeze me in). I walked into an empty waiting room. Aside from a chair and what had previously been the front desk, and a couple shelves with leftover tanning lotion on them, there was nothing else. I decided to give them the BOTD and assume they were remodeling. I waited for 25 minutes before I even saw an employee; she asked me if I was there for a tan. I said, "No, I've been calling for a week to try and schedule a wax, but noone answered....are you guys remodeling?" The employee responded "No we're closing". Well thanks for letting all of your clientele know! She handed me a business card for Lisa Riehl, who had apparently worked there a couple years back, and said she'd call her to ask if she could squeeze me in. I left extremely angry and disappointed. Come to find out later that the owner of Salon Bella Mia had taken all of the equipment and the funds from the business and left without notifying any of her employees or clients in advance. Were this business not already closed, I would have reported them for every business-related faux pas in the book. However, some good did come of all this; please see my review on Canyon Healing Arts Center:)
