I stayed here for one night for about $47.50/night. Not close to the center of Portland, but near the airport. The staff is very friendly and they serve the standard continental breakfast. The lobby and rooms were good, and the wireless internet worked well.
The area wasn't the best, there were many strip clubs, but it didn't feel unsafe at all.
PROS: inexpensive and clean place
CONS: strip clubs in the area (might be a pro for some folks)
