On October 17th & 18th, the Beverly Hills Art Show returns. 250 artists and their original art, from twenty-foot tall metal sculptures to delicate watercolors fill four historic garden blocks in BH, from Rodeo to Rexford Drive. In addition, this free, drop-in event always includes an outdoor dining quarter, a wine garden, live jazz, classical and contemporary music, many art demonstrations, and craft-making for children. A number of local area restaurants provide the cuisine. Live demonstrations feature artists showing off their abilities to represent water, a notoriously tough subject to paint. The art show talent pool pays tribute to water, an increasingly rare and precious substance even in the lush oasis of Beverly Hills.
