STRONGLY BEWARE: This is the worst place I've had the misfortune of living at. I was in an emergency and needed to find a place quick. The outside and inside of the clubhouse looked nice and the "showroom" apartment looked nice. However it ALL stopped there. They were finishing painting my apartment the day before I moved in, so I couldn't see it until my lease was signed. The "showroom" apartment had a nice chandelier, hardwood floors, nice tile, and color paint. Mine had none of that! It completely smelled of smoke, there were cigarette burns in the dirty carpet, gross white (over fake brown wood) painted cabinets, poorly painted walls, no hardwood floors, the door wouldn't lock properly, my key wouldn't turn in any doors, the air conditioner was dirty and looked like it was from the 80s and never cleaned, the shower faucet dripped, the chandelier looked like a cheap one from Kmart. I asked them to replace the carpet and they said they would shampoo it, which supposedly they did, but it didn't help. I made them replace the carpet but I had to move all my furniture myself. They made random visits to fix the outlets and wiring and left wiring materials all over the place that my small dog could get into. They gave 1 day notice they would be turning off the water for a day. The elevator was being "fixed" for 4 months during the winter, and I lived on the 4th floor! The closet doors constantly broke. I would have to leave numerous messages to get things fixed and never received a call back. The electricity went out numerous times for hours, for no reason! Heat is split between all the residents in a building, and although I never had my heat on once the apartment was burning hot and the bill was usually $70. You can hear everything through the walls and windows. Horribly unmanaged unwatched unruly kids play into all hours of the night, and they don't care if they run into you w their bikes. Barely any of the residents spoke English, so all you heard was yelling in Spanish or Arabic! And each and everyone of them freaked when they saw my 16lbs dog! The person in the apartment above me grew marijuana and blasted music. I had to make numerous noise complaints and smell of drugs complaints; to top it off water from his growing system started to go down into my ceiling and wall and the company just painted over it! Parking lot is a nightmare! They don't have someone plow, so this past winter there was almost 6 inches of solid ice you had to walk on. Very very very dangerous! I got my car stuck multiple times. Now I'm about to move out and they called 11 days before my lease is up and said I was supposed to be out the next day. Both years of my lease say its up at the end of this month! They're trying to get me out early because they said they already have it leased to someone. To TOP it all off: they have the worst leasing/management staff! Multiple managers have gone through w/i 2 yrs. Steve is a narcissistic, rude, unempathic, uncaring, a**hole. He doesn't care about your concerns and is straight mean to your face. Lindsay is a snobby very unintelligent Bith. The one people are the older night manager w a ponytail, and one of the maintenance workers (shorter white guy w black hair). Do not live here, I repeat: DO NOT LIVE AT THE LAKES AT MONACO POINTE!!!

I love what you guys are doing with the apartments and land. If only other residents would appreciate it and take care of the place they live. All of the staff is so friendly!

I was not very impressed when I toured the property. It seemed like they were short staffed so the leasing agent was rushed. There was trash as she took me to the unit she was showing me. I could also see trash on the ground below. The parking lot was a bit of a mess as well. I apartment didn't really stand out to me since it was very basic.
