Well, we lived here for 2 years, and I've seen it go from good to not so good. When I first moved in the apartment complex was under COMAC management group. At move in, I was slapped with a couple extra fee's including screening fee which the court ruled to be illegal. The staff was nice for the most part and definitely there if you needed anything. They've got a pretty good pool, hot tub and a good basketball court for an apartment complex. However, security remains a challenge due to the trailer park and the rough neighborhood surrounding the complex, our cars were broken into twice in 2 years.

2011 Riverstone Residential group took over the complex management, this is the worst management company ever but don't take my word for it read the reviews here http://www.yelp.com/biz/riverstone-residential-group-lynnwood

After this company took over they hiked up rent by almost 10% and introduced trash collection fees based on number of occupants per unit. This pissed off a lot of tenants it was almost like a convoy of Uhauls were attacking the complex. Lots of people moving out while the management filled up the units. That's when we started to see the problems and is definitely why we moved out.

Issue 1: Parking & Security
Unless you've got some super tiny hybrid car, have fun parking. I hope you don't mind door dings. Its a gated community for car traffic but people can move in out of the complex as they please so why have the gate in the first place?

Issue 2: Soundproofing
The apartment are poorly sound proofed so be ready to deal with the noise emanating from outside or from your neighbors. Am sure upstairs neighbor didn't walk with center blocks duct tapped to her feet or deliberately flushed the toilet.

Issue 3: Price
This place is pretty expensive. Not worth the amount for the location, especially if you have kids attending public schools. Public school assigned to the complex perform very poorly use this site to check school ranking http://www.schooldigger.com/go/WA/schoolrank.aspx

Issue 4: Moving out
When you move out make sure you take photos of your apartment because the management will use all kinds of trick and deception to hold your deposit money and tuck some fees.
