Specialties: Coffee, Tea, Toast, & Desserts Mornings: Fresh coffeeshop fare from Little Rae's Bakery, Mighty-O Donuts, and Remo Borracchini's Bread sliced thick and toasted with pretty much anything you'd want to put on toast. Afternoons and Evenings: Rich Southern Desserts, like Hummingbird Cake, Red Velvet Cake, Rum Soaked Pineapple Upside-down Cake, Lemon Pecan Pie, & Drenched Rum Pound cake, with Pecans just to name a few. We use only the best in everything we serve, Monin syrups, and Guittard Sweet Dark Chocolate in our Mocha's. Our bread is made locally and our cakes are all made from scratch by Momma's Bakery in Renton. (they make their own vanilla extract and baking powder if that tells you anything) Our portions are plentiful, and our prices are fair. We promise! One of our favorite aspects of Belltown is that many businesses here reflect the owners and their own personal interests and styles. We wanted Bedlam to mirror that and be a place we would personally enjoy hanging out at. A place for business folks or average Joes to unwind, connect with friends, and perhaps see some things that are new and inspiring. How to judge the quality of coffee in Seattle is a never-ending debate. On that note we won't tell you who we are brewing. It is a much guarded shop floor secret, (So don't even ask). All we will say is, that it is a micro-roaster from Montana who only parts with 40lbs at a time, and no, you never heard of them. If there was any doubt about how good we think it is we say, "Taste it or yourself".

Not just another coffee shop or is it? Actually it does not seem to be. They do have good coffee and pastries but it quickly felt more neighborhood than other new places. The prices are reasonable.

One of the VERY newest Belltown hot spots. Bedlam has that funky chic feeling you want in a neighborhood coffeehouse. A wide range of posters and signs and objects adorn the walls making everyone feel comfortable and at home. But you don't need to go there only for their super secret coffee blend - go there for the wonderful pastries they bring in from some of the finest bakeries in our area.
