I've been putting up with their annoying attempts to sell me extra services for years, but I don't go for any of that unless a quick cell call to my real mechanic tells me they're pushing something I actually need. They're never shy about trying to sell me extra services, but I wish they'd back those services up with actual competence. My mistake during my last visit was letting them sell me an air filter, and I'm literally paying the price for it. They screwed up my air filter housing. I'll never go to Jiffy Lube again.

They sold me service on my differential (all-wheel-drive, differential in front too). They overfilled the oil, which leaked out onto the exhaust system. For several months my car stank badly when running, and it took a year for the smell to go away. Their feeble efforts to "degrease" the chassis made no difference. My ex-wife took her car in for an oil change and they didn't tighten the drain plug. It loosened on the freeway, all the oil drained out, and her engine was destroyed. You would have to be insane to trust these idiots with your vehicle.
