Both in terms of money for pet care and for gas to get from where I live in Acworth, GA to Pets Are People Too in Roswell, GA, this is a true 'worth it!' experience. We started going to them when we lived just down the road, and still went after we moved because we loved them so much.
The waiting area is large, clean, and bright. You can see the pet grooming and kennel area from there.
Staff is extremely friendly, capable, efficient, and compassionate.
The doctors are nice, knowledgeable, and gentle. They care about you and your pets well-being, both emotionally and physically. They take all the time you need to talk options and procedures.
I highly recommend Pets Are People Too. It's so worth it.
Dr's Banner and Willhite have been our vets for 10 years. They have seen our family through the care of 7 dogs and the loss of 4 with compassion, patience, and expertise. We no longer live in Roswell, and there is another Pets are People Too about 10 minutes away, but still willingly drive the 30 minutes from midtown for the excellent care provided by Dr's Banner and Willhite. They are as good as it gets.
My pets see Dr. Willhite, and there is no better vet for bedside manner or getting to the ""real"" problem. We deal with allergies, which many people know to be particularly difficult to manage, but Dr. Willhite is never without reasurance and a new idea. With her, we have seen major improvement in both my pets (previously undiagnosed by many other vets), and we continue to work through the problems: she takes our issues as if they were her own.\r
Love her, and hope to see her for many more years.
Pros: Dr. Willhite
Cons: Some admin staff are snarky
Dr Willhite and Dr Banner are the best vets on the planet! They are so caring and thoughtful and genuinely care about your pet. They take time with each patient and thoroughly explain to you exactly what the problem is and what procedures will be done. I recommend them to anyone and everyone and will never take my animals anywhere else. They are simply the best! I have the utmost respect for these two and am so glad to have discovered them and wish I had sooner! If you need a vet, take your pets there. No matter where you live, the drive is worth it.
Pros: service, facility, staff
Dr. Wilhite is fantastic! We switched from another Roswell vet and have found superior care for our dogs. She listens, takes time with us and really searches for the root of any problem. We have recommended her to others and will continue to do so. Lui and Bella give her 2 paws up!\r

p.s. We have also talked with Dr. Banner on the phone and I think she shares the same qualities.
Pros: friendly, knowledgeable, cost effective
Top notch vet! I've had pets for over 30 years and Dr. Banner and Dr. Wilhite are absolutely the best there is!
She takes the time to listen to your concerns and explain things fully. You never feel rushed and no question is too minor. The staff is sorta hit or miss, the last couple times I went in they must have had new staff that wasn't quite up to speed as others I had dealt with previously. The office is very clean and everyone is very attentive to you and your pet's needs. I will continue to visit this location so my dogs can see Dr. Banner.
Pros: Attentiveness, Explanations Given
Cons: Undertrained F. Desk, Long wait if no appt.
My dog had a fungal infection that started out in her toenail and ended up requiring needing to amputate a toe. I went to two other vets to get the problem figured out, was put off BAD by North Atlanta Animal (wouldn't EVER bring my dog there again even if life or death sit.) to the point where I point all the blame for having to amputate on them. The Doc's at P.A.P.T. took immediate care of my pooch and confirmed that what I had thought was going on indeed was. My baby is getting back to normal and I will never go to another vet. The staff is WONDERFUL, thoughtful, and care very much for the animals. Go there first!!!
