I was very disappointed with my experience. We had dinner before a show at the theatre. The server was overwhelmed and forgot our bread. We asked for it again and it still never showed. My bronsino was so dry it was almost inedible and my wife's ravoli's were over cooked and mushy. Clearly, the staff was unable to handle the not so large crowd as we waited a long time for the server to deliver the bill. I think it's time to cross this one off the list :(

Barcelona is a great resturant. Mark, the owner, is a great chef and very nice. Staff is friendly and makes sure you enjoy your expierence. Food is really good and its byob, which I love. This is the best resturant on Broad Street in Pitman by far! The others I eaten at on that street (expecially Sweet Lulas) pail in comparison.

It was our first visit to Barcelona Cafe- Sept 2009. We thought they had a nice selection on their menu-- not so many choices that you got overwhelmed. The wait staff was friendly, professional and made us feel welcome. As for our meal: The bread was not very good and the sun-dried tomato and black olive tapenade was bland. My husband had the calamari stuffed with proscciuto--to tough and not much taste. The Caesar salad was a nice size for the price and was very good. My husband had the highly recommended steamed-seafood kettle, which was served over rice table side by our waitress. This dish had excellent flavors and was prepared well. I had the ravioli stuffed with sweet potato. What a unique dish, full of flavor and nicely presented. For dessert, the vanilla and chocolate creme brulee was perfectly served in chilled ramekins, caramelized table side and served with petite spoons--delicious. The ambiance was simple and needed a few paintings; however the room was very spacious and the bathrooms were very clean and nicely decorated. Overall, we would like to return to the Barcelona Cafe to try some of their other dishes!

We had a wonderful dinner at Barcelona, before the show at the Pitman Theatre. The food was excellent. I had the pork tenderloin special with julienned vegetables and garlic mashed potatos.

The decor was subdued, minimalist but elegant and the windows opened to Broadway, the park and the library.

Servers were new, but gracious.

The chef owner came out to glad hand the mayor and then left and came out a few minutes later to greet other diners, but not all of the diners. Not so gracious.

The price is a little high for the location and they will
have a run for their money when Guilermos opens with their Sunset Menu.
