Green Monkey Tree Service

Jose and the Green Monkey guys did an outstanding job in my backyard removing a huge cottonwood tree that was already dead and posed a threat to my home and family. I realized is a dangerous gig for anyone. He was more than fair and beat a couple of bids that I found a little too high by other companies. I don't think that Jose is out to disrespect or take advantage of anyone...these people are just hard workers not invaders. I recommend the Green Monkey.

Disrespect by Green Monkey Tree Service
Green Monkey or someone they hired to distribute business cards, ignored four signs (two of which are in Spanish) that are on my fence and gate. The signs state that no advertisements, fliers, solicitations are to be put on my property. Though I have made two phone calls to Mr. Lopez, he has ignored my messages. Mr. Lopez evidently believes his business card is of greater importance than my wish to keep my property litter free.
Since Mr. Lopez has deliberately ignored my right to keep my property litter free, I am calling the Better Business Bureau to file a complaint. I do not think it is to Mr. Lopez's benefit to ignore the rights of his potential customers. The Neighborhood Listserv reaches about 1,000 possible customers. Ignoring the rights of one potential client may cost him many more customers.

I am not normally one to go online to write reviews, but Jose and his crew did such an outstanding job that I wanted to let folks know about their work. I arrived home after 4pm on a weekday to find a business card on my driveway offering tree service. The person who had come by three weeks earlier to give an estimate on removing a large, dead elm tree had not yet called back. I called Green Monkey's number, explained my situation, and Jose himself turned around immediately (from Mopac/183) and returned to my home in Round Rock, gave me an extremely fair bid, then came Saturday morning to remove the large tree and two other smaller ones. They worked quickly and with surgical precision (easily avoiding dropping large limbs overhanging my neighbor's house/property), and removed everything, leaving a nice, clean yard. I had to look hard to even see where the two smaller trees had been. Jose is one of the nicest guys you'll ever do business with. You'll be more than happy you called.
