AALL Pro Movers is... not worth hiring. I lost way too much!

by Lisa B.

I had just about the same experience with Aall Pro Movers as Jaime (comment before me). I didn't hire the. I got them, unknowingly, when I hired Budget Van Lines (NO association with Budget Rental - I assumed it was, bad move on my part). From pickup to delivery, it was pure hell. I worked so much harder and lost so much of my expensive belongings after waiting 27 days, when I was told it would take 5! I was told the balance would put be on my Mom's VISA card (they had on file) on the day of delivery. I found out the night before, (By the driver who didn't even work for them - they hired Mayflower). I spoke with Dorothy at Aal Pro the night prior to delivery to be sure the final payment (The final balance was supposed to be lowered due to the LATE delivery...) all set but she couldn't find my file (AS usual when I called - Called & e-mailed daily, while waiting but never a response) Anyway, Dorothy did give me the delivery driver's name and number. When I called him, I was told it would be over $174.00 MORE than the original final balance (before the expected discount) and had to be in CASH. If I didn't have CASH, he would not take one box off the truck. After some frantic phone calls, my Mom came from out of state with the cash the next morning, day of delivery. I ended up unloading the truck myself as well as my son & neighbor (we had to use her pickup, going back & forth to the moving truck, one pickup load at a time). After weeks of calling & e-mailing Dorothy DID credit the overage but never gave me back the credit due on the original final balance. It was promised to be discounted at a rate of $25 per day over CONTRACT (which actually stated 10-15 days). The credit should have been $300.00, which didn't include all of my missing & damaged items. This was just the short version of the HELL I went through. If anyone has any questions, I can be reached at LovinARLivin@aol.com
I spoke with a former driver (His number was listed on the BBB website). He said I was lucky it didn't take at least 2 months, like many people. I will say the former driver (still owed money by the company) said they are GOOD people, but having very difficult times, trying to keep the business afloat, due to these terrible economic times. I am tired of fighting and being angry. Maybe they truly ARE good people. I still, find it hard to believe they can't do SOMETHING to settle this, though. I have been out of work since April (no unemployment & borrowing every month in order to survive). I wonder if the owners/staff (what's left) will be celebrating the holidays with their families. I know I will have NOTHING for my son (in great part to Aall Pro Movers) and It has caused my Mom great pain & suffering. It's been PURE HELL and I am sick over it, literally SICK. The stress caused from trying to resolve this issue has been physically & emotionally draining. I am too tired, too sick to fight this anymore. My heart is broken. I did NOTHING wrong. I was wronged.
I am so sorry I didn't go with renting a Penske (the BEST) truck and hiring a few kids to help me load & unload.. do the driving & towing my car myself. At least, I would have paid LESS & gotten ALL of my belongings. I think of them every time I need to vacuum (brand new $200 vacuum gone), fix something (out of 4 toolboxes, the ONLY one that wasn't even supposed to go on the truck because it had my most important, most needed, most expensive tools.. never arrived), my best work clothes/shoes (size 11AA - not easy to find or replace), when summer arrives and my 2 BRAND NEW (purchased in July and delivered late September are broken and don't work)...Ah, the list goes on and on....
My hope is, that Aall Pro Movers gets on its feet and PAYS me back. I won't hold my breath.
Lisa

AALL Pro Movers is a scam

by Jaime K.

DO NOT UTILIZE THIS COMPANY FOR YOUR MOVE! Please see bbb.org for further information on my complaint. This moving company did nothing right from start to finish. They told us they would load up our belongings and unload them and that we would have nothing to worry about. They also promised false dates and then changed them and did not notify us of the change until the day of the move. We had to help the movers load and unload the truck. They did not deliver our belongings until 13 days after we the date of pick-up. This company has no idea what customer service is. they will not respond to your phone calls and will not call you back. Once we finally were able to get them to deliver our belongings, we were told that our weight was over and that we somehow owed an additional $2160 and that we were unable to receive anything until we paid in full. According to protectyourmove.gov, you are not required to pay this new amount until 30 days after they deliver. Please see protectyourmove.gov for further information and verification. The movers called us one hour before delivery, and told us that we needed to have a money order in the amount of $2160 or they would not give us a single thing, when on our invoice it states that a credit card is an acceptable payment form. The company then told us that their credit card machine wasn't working that day, so we ended up not getting our belongings until a day after, which made our delivery daye 14 days after the date of pickup. This company will lie to you, scam you, and seriously make you regret doing business with them. Please, I recommend you to do your research and use a more noteable company. Make sure that your delivery date is on the invoice, otherwise, they will trick you and tell you lies and then screw you over. You will seriously regret using this company. They only have five drivers and are unable to deliver your belongings in a timely manner. I am unsure as to why they have the highest rating from the BBB, because nothing about that company is customer friendly. Do not be fooled by that rating.

AALL Pro Movers should be shut down

by Cathy S.

The movers are unprofessional, disrespectful as well as the office staff and owner. One of my neighbors also previously worked for them and is owed thousands of dollars from this company.
