Delaware Valley Veterinary is turning down injured, homeless animals.

by Horace S.

I was shocked to hear that the vet's office turned down an injured, stray cat my church brought in. We have been getting good care for our pets however the bedside manners aren't always the best.

go somewhere else

i have taken my cat to del valley vets since he was born. he had to have surgery two years ago to remove a lump on his side. when i went to pick him up the next day, i took him out of his carrier in front of one of the staff to check his side & ask about care of the staples. my cat was fussing when i tried putting him back in, the staff picked him up by his tail and dropped him in the carrier head first. i was furious. NEVER again will i take my cat back there. if they did this when i was standing there, i cant imagine what they do when im not.

Best. Vet. Ever.

by Karen H.

Words can't describe the gratitude my sisters and I have for their literally saving the lives of our cats, both in dire straits, though for very different reasons. Another vet wanted to put my sister's cat down because they could not figure out what was wrong with him. That was years ago, and Johnson is still going strong, having been properly diagnosed by Delaware Valley's Dr. Milden, not with cancer as had been the misdiagnosis, but with IBS! My 14-year-old Wiley would have surely succumbed to the cancer he DID have had I listened to two other vets I took him to, who were both quite clueless as his ulceration grew and grew. Then we went to Delaware Valley Animal Hospital. The doctor knew right away what it was, and what to do. Because they use state-of-the-art anesthesia, they are able to take on an older animal's surgical needs with amazing results. I am over an hour away, but I will never take my animals to anyone but this caring, gifted vet and his wonderful staff. Oh, and their fees are very reasonable too.

pet chiropractic

Dr. Fries is a wonderful human chiropractor, but he is also certified to work on your pets. He uses the Logan method, which is very gentle. He is always attending seminars to keep his work up to date. My dogs love him!

His prices are very reasonable, and he has a wonderful rapport with the animals. Highly recommended.

Terrible experience- I would NEVER bring an animal here again.

by Tracy S.

Please do not bring your pets to Delaware Valley. We were taking both of our pugs there for about one year because we moved to the area. Our 9 year old had surgery on a Friday- and they "accidentally" took the staples out 4 days later. Dr. Milden- the lead vet- told us "it would be fine." Needless to say he ripped open the wound the next morning and had to be rushed in for new staples. They are completely inept and unprofessional. You don't have much recourse for malpractice in the vet world- but at least we can tell others to not send their pets there.

Rude and unaccomadating!

by Ernest F.

My family has been using them for several years now and we've never had a problem until last week when I called and asked about the low-cost spaying program offered by the State of NJ to disabled persons, who list them as participants. I was told by a very rude young lady (Bernadette) that there was no such program and it is a farce. I called West Deptford Animal Hospital and within an hour filled out the VERY REAL application and had it approved by the State of New Jersey. Maybe the client base is getting too big and they don't want any more business!

Awesome vet!!!

by Jennifer M.

Delaware Valley Vet hospital is wonderful. I recently started going there when I had an emergency with a pet and have sinced switched all my animals over to them. They have four veterinarians in the office so there is never any long wait in the waiting room. I've always been taken back within five minutes of getting there. They are all friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recommend them to every one I talk to!!!
