I had the best car buying experience at CMV. Everyone was so nice and there was no pressure. The attention to our needs was there all the way until the moment we drove off...with a brand new 2011 Dodge Charger RT!!! They made us feel at home and did not rush anything. I will be coming back for my next purchase! Special thanks to Jon :)

This place is great! Amanda is always remembers me and it's like continuing a conversation from yesterday even though it was a month ago. I love going and I can take my dog. There is free wi-fi and a large screen tv. This is my 3rd VW

We bought a used subaru with 59K that had been sold, serviced, and traded in to CVM before it was auctioned to the small lot where we bought it. Less than 2 mo after our purchase there was total engine failure. We have learned that CV had replaced the engine at 44K two years prior and failed to disclose to carfax. More - the car had been returned and had spark plugs, hoses etc replaced ONE MONTH after they put the new motor in. We got a different story and piece of information every time we talked to someone there, and they want to blame EVERYONE except themselves. They refuse to stand behind their work, and they have been the most unethical, disreputable group. While there for a "diagnosis" the car was dented and keyed. The service mgr refused to tell us the diagnosis, saying he would only speak to a Subaru rep - oh, but billed us for it. We towed the car home and picked up the engine separately rather than paying them the $10K (!!!!!!!) they wanted to "repair" it. Seriously? Why would I hire the garage who screwed up the engine in the first place - and won't admit it - to repair it? Despite the huge bill for diagnosis, we learned NOTHING about why the engine failed - just that it had. Gee, thanks. They can't explain why a timing belt put in 18K miles ago is completely worn. No wonder this place has nearly no vehicles on the lot. If you're going to buy a Subaru, go to Faulkner - and if you're buying used, make sure it was NEVER "serviced" or "repaired" at CV. And, for goodness' sakes, don't expect them to do the right, ethical, or legal thing.

I bought a Volkwagen Routan off of CVM and my experience has been great. I just got my free 6000 mile service done and when I came in to get the car they had it washed and ready to go for me. Avan was so very helpful when he was scheduling my service and getting me a loaner car. I would reccomend CVM to anyone and plan to come back for service and to get my next car, too.

Love it! I bought a GTI Fahrenheit there about a year ago and feel like I got a great deal. It's the first VW I have owned and wasn't actually even looking for a car when I bought it. But, after a test drive and talking with sales, I decided to buy it. Now, after visiting the dealership to get the VW serviced, I am thinking about getting another vehicle--Subaru has some cool stuff! I'd recommend them for sure.

CVM is awesome! I just bought a new VW and I can't believe the great deal I got and how helpful and fun the salesman, Ryan was! He knew everything about the car and showed me things on the test drive the other VW dealers never thought to show me. I love my new CC! And I am so happy I made the drive to Mechanicsburg. I would recommend them to anyone!

Looked at a VW and the sals lady knew nothing about the car then insisted coming along for the test drive. While driving the car she bashed my current car and complained about her personal life. I didn't buy the car and will keep my BMW that "wished it had all the technology VW has" according to the sales lady.

Everything started out fine, then went downhill very fast with sales and service. Our sales person left employment at the dealership leaving us to work with someone else on future sales and service needs. This salesperson, Ryan, is arrogant and does not answer concerns or problems we have and elects to back burner all of our concerns and issues. We have reported this to Mike Page, Sales Manager and his response is that the Dealership is always in the right and we, the consumer, are wrong. He spoke very nasty and attacked our concerns as "personality conflicts." In taking our concerns to Monique Ollum, she does not return telephone calls, meet to talk in person at the dealership to talk nor has she answered any letters that have been personally addressed to her at the dealership. I would recommend treading carefully once in the doors if interested in Dodge, Subaru or VW. I do not recommend CVM at all to anyone however.

I bought a new minivan a year ago and love the car - hate the dealership. I ran over a curb and had to have a tire replaced. The whole experience was terrible in getting the tire replaced. They never called when it was done, when I went to pick it up the service lady asked me to wait since she was busy then she proceeded to help the next FOUR customers as they walked in while I waited. To get helped I had to go stand in front of her and demand to be helped. All she had to do was print off a piece of paper and have me sign it - I waited half an hour for that?!? When I got into my car it was dirty! There was enough grease smeared on my rearview mirror that I couldn't see in it, my radio was blaring a heavy metal station (I like loud music, but my volume has never been that high), EVERYTHING in the car was readjusted including all the air/heating vents. Why did they even touch them to change a tire?? Every thing about my adjustable seat was changed even the height of the seatbelt and tilt of the chair. My mirrors were all adjusted. All of this PLUS the 15 miles that were put on my car indicate that someone took it for a ride - did they go to lunch perhaps?? I am so fuming mad at this dealership. I have to go there for any warrenty repairs since there isn't another Dodge dealership anywhere else around. I'd drive 40 min no problem if there was another dealership that close. PLEASE don't buy a car from them!

brings me back to the image of the salesman who shakes your hand with his fingers crossed. Even driving by there makes my chest hurt. I wish I never bought a car from them.

Pros: i like spending money on repairs

Cons: anyone want a piece of junk?

unless you like high pressure sales, filthy showrooms and used car nightmares. I do not recommend at all. My best friend has a car that should have been checked before sold and they refuse to fix it. Imagine buying a car and the first time you bring it on the highway it bucks and stalls...then you find out the thousand dollar repair is not under their supposedly peace of mind warranty. yes, stay clear friends on carlisle pike. cvm is a complaint magnet.

I regret ever setting foot in CVM Dodge. They sold me a car that was in need of several thousand dollars of repairs. They lie about their warranty and they do not return telephone calls. I am so sorry I ever purchased a car from them. I should have known that they were deceitful people when they laughed about another customer being locked out of his car. CVM dodge is located on Carlisle Pike in Mechanicsburg. Search results include CVM and cumberland valley motors. I have many complaints with their service department and their sales department. I find it loathesome that they would try to get me to spend another thousand dollars on an extended warranty when they cover NOTHING. Two days after I bought my car the check engine light went on. They have ignored me hoping I would go away before my warranty expires. They are dishonest. Do not buy a car there. It is not a deal.

I bought a car that bucked and stalled right after I bought it. Tried to get it fixed but they would not cover the repair. It cost me thousands and I feel like I was taken advantage of. I do not recommend. I should have saved my money and just bought a car from a private seller. I wish I never heard of CVM.

Pros: sorry, I'm now too poor to think of any

Cons: limited is key word warranty they cover nothing

This dealership offers the best of the best vehicles. The staff is excellent- friendly, and they know their stuff. They always have the coolest cars and trucks on the lot- even an SRT-10 pickup!!! They also have a great parts dept. I purchased over $200 in just accessories- a lunchbag, a sweatshirt, a clipboard, etc. I haven't found another dealer that offers more cool stuff than this one. Worth the trip to Carlisle!!

PROS: excellent selection of cars and trucks
CONS: none
