I went to Dr. Ruof for the first time and was pleasantly surprised by how enjoyable going to the dentist actually was. Instead of feeling like I was going to an irritating doctor's appointment, she instantly made me feel at home and answered all of my questions with sincere kindness.
Besides her patience, friendliness, and gentleness as a dentist, her depth of knowledge and understanding in her field is astounding. She took the time to explain several questions and concerns I had using pictures, models, and a mirror. I was really impressed with how easily she was able to break down complicated information in a way that was digestible for someone who is not in her field to understand.
As part of my first visit, I had a number of x-rays done. I explained that I had two teeth that were more sensitive than normal and once the x-rays were done, she enlarged those teeth on a computer screen for me to see. She carefully examined the sensitive teeth and described exactly what was causing the sensitivity. To this day, I think about her explanation and try my best to follow her advice with careful soft brushing.
I would strongly recommend Dr. Ruof to anyone in need of a kind, intelligent, and extremely thorough dentist. I know I will continue seeing her for years to come!
I strongly recommend Park 56 Dental Group because they have an incredible staff team that is extremely talented who care about their patients, and go above and beyond to make them feel comfortable. Maritza Lopez, my hygienist, is a wonderful representation of this. She has always been so kind and her genuine interest in me as a patient has always made me feel at ease, and even excited, to go to the dentist. Her professionalism and exceptional care are reasons why I have made Park 56 the only place I will go.
You read that right, I LOVE my dentist! Like everyone I had bad dental experiences as a child. No one likes to feel that loss of control, and I thought I would never ever get over it.
I avoided going to the dentist for many years because of these bad experiences, but thank God I found Dr. Laura Ruof through a co-worker.
To start, the office doesn't have that regular dentist office smell. You feel like you are walking into an upscale spa, with candles burning and calm friendly people. Seriously, every single person who works in that office is genuinely sweet and considerate. Everyone smiles, everyone helps, everyone cares.
Especially Dr. Ruof. She is fun and so smart, but more than that she is KIND. She genuinely cares about YOU, about your dental health of course, but also about your general health, your family, your life.
I really love how there's no cheesy dental office music! You can listen to her personal music selections or you can have your OWN music playing in the room (how cool is that?), watch tv, or just relax. She is so gentle I've fallen asleep in her chair many times.
When it comes down to the dental stuff, she definitely teaches me a lot. She doesn't just say "ok you have 3 cavities see you next week" she takes pictures of each tooth, uses models to demonstrate what she means, and draws me pictures. They have all the latest technology and I can see my xrays and pictures up on the screen.
Obviously I just can't say enough good things! I've sent at least 5 people from my office and lots of friends too. I've also been treated by Dr. Rabinowitz at Park56 when I needed my wisdom teeth out. Ruof and Rabinowitz are like the dental dream team!
it was 5pm on a late wednesday afternoon and my temporary bridgework that was done last year by a dentist in chicago broke into 5 or 6 pieces while i was snacking on some mixed nuts. i looked in the mirror and my lower front teeth, all the way to the molar teeth on the left side, looked like little fangs, with a couple of large spaces where i was missing some teeth. i must admit that i had procrastinated in getting my permanent crowns and now i was paying the price. one of my co-workers recommended that i call their dentist, dr gerry herman, a prosthodontist at park 56 dental group. i was embarrassed to say that i never even heard of a prosthodontist until i looked it up on google. i called the office and they said that they were going to close for the day pretty soon but that dr herman will see me as an emergency patient. at 6pm dr herman took a look at my mouth and said he will take impressions of my mouth and send it to his lab for new temporary bridgework and that because so many teeth were involved he would ask his lab guy to rush the case and have it back by friday morning. i almost broke out in tears and explained that i had my job review in the morning and needed to be at the top of my game. to make a long story short, dr herman asked his assistant if she wouldn't mind staying for a few hours. he proceeded to mix up a batch of temporary acrylic bridge material and molded it on to my teeth. then he had me go through a series of chewing and jaw movements until the material was set. finally he began sculpting and carving this block of acrylic until the bridgework was done, i think it was about 8 teeth!! it was polished and cemented and by 8pm we were done. the temporary bridge looked and felt better than any permanent crowns i ever had. this guy is an artist and a dental genius and one helluva nice guy. his assistant is wonderful and the office is beautiful and clean and modern. dr herman is currently working on my permanent bridgework. one last thing - dr herman discovered and diagnosed a gum problem that i never knew i had and his hygienist is working to correct it. i am very grateful to dr herman and park 56 dental group.
Even though I have lived in the city for a number of years, I avoided finding an NY based dentist (I just stuck with my NJ based one) because it was just too exhausting and I didn't want to risk having a bad experience (I only go to the dentist about once a year, which I know is not often enough).
Anyway, I finally braved a dentist (not Dr. Ruof) that was recommended by a friend and I noticed after two visits that they were always suggesting little add ons - things like "oh you REALLY need to start using an electric tooth brush. we sell them up front." or "cosmetic procedures x and y would REALLY help protect your teeth in the long run". I started to get the feeling I was being sold unnecessary things, which left a really bad taste in my mouth because it is really important to me that I can trust the advice of my medical professionals. They even went so far as to try and make me feel insecure about my teeth color (which is pretty much a normal shade of white) to try and sell me whitening services.
I was ready to run right back to my NJ dentist, but on a whim (and a different friends recommendation) I visited Dr. Ruof. And she was great!! Not only was she super friendly and an extremely proficient dentist, she also dispelled a lot of the myths my previous dentist tried to pass off as facts (it turns out I do not, in fact, need and electric toothbrush). This kind of honesty, combined with the fact that she clearly explained everything she was recommending and why in terms I could easily understand, made me feel completely comfortable. She never once tried to "over-sell" me. And to top it off my teeth look great!!
I will never go to another NYC dentist. Dr. Ruof is a great find and highly recommend anyone seeking a dentist check her out as soon as possible.
I am from Australia (where the medical system is far less complicated) and have lived in the US for 4 years. It has taken me so long to finally find a dentist who is capable, honest and accessible. Dr Ruof at Park 56 is easily the best dentist I've ever been to.
Prior to my fortunate discovery of Dr Ruof at Park 56, I typically hated the thought of going to the dentist. Matters were only made worse by numerous bad experiences at "random" dentists I tried around the city - again it's difficult for foreigners to know where to go.
The last place I was at was totally sketchy. My teeth cleaner was wearing sunglasses inside (hiding a black eye or something) and they recommended some treatment plan that was totally geared at maxing out my insurance payments involving some 14 future visits into the future. I had heard the horror stories of doctors here trying to over-treat and over-subscribe to maximize revenue, however now I had experienced it first hand. Of course, I never went back after the first visit and was almost turned off ever going to see a dentist here in the city again.
Thankfully, I heard of Dr Ruof through a friend. Burned from my prior experiences and a little apprehensive at first, I was absolutely blown away by the contrast of the experience. The staff at Park 56 are SO nice. I couldn't work it out, were they being this nice just because I was new? No, having been back a number times since, they are genuinely this nice ALL the time. They always call me by my name and are extremely helpful with scheduling appointments, payment, insurance stuff, etc.
Then the experience with Dr Ruof is like no other dental experience I've ever had. Totally relaxed, we had music going in the background, TV on if i wanted it. Yet the best thing about Dr Ruof is that she is an excellent teacher. I am one of those people that like to have things explained to me about what is going on and why things are the way they are. She explains exactly what is going on, what the causes are and what the options are to fix them. This is in complete contrast to all other dentists I have seen previously.
I totally recommend Dr Ruof and Park 56 to anyone who wants a new dental experience. I can't rate her highly enough!
I have lived in SF, LA and NY and been to dozens of dental offices in my life. I have had small fillings, crowns, veneers, basically the whole nine yards. Like most people, my dental experiences were ones I would rather forget. But not so at Park 56.
The Park 56 office is spectacular and the staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating of a busy schedule. I saw Dr. Laura Ruof when I first started going to Park 56 two years ago after an older filling came out. She was the best. She was friendly, she took the time to explain what was happening with my tooth and didn't rush to judgment or drill, she fixed my tooth to perfection and said we will keep an eye out on the rest of my old fillings.
Over the next two years I have had to see Dr. Ruof for a number of issues from toothaches to veneers and invisalign consults. I chipped my front tooth on a plastic fork on New Years and Dr. Ruof was able to see me on a holiday to fix my broken front teeth. She did an incredible job and my smile has never been better.
I seriously never thought I would say going to the dentist was an enjoyable experience, but Dr. Ruof really changed my perspective, she was so nice and helpful, really eased any anxiety I previously had.
Don't be deceived by Dr. Ruof and thrown off by her beautiful office and charismatic ways. Do not make the same mistake that I did and go to Park 56 Dental.
I was 24. flossed regularly, had steady dental follow up, and took pretty good care of my teeth. I was shocked when I found out that I had TWELVE cavities, but since this was my first time going to a dentist that wasnt my childhood dentist, I had no reason to not believe my Doctor.
Dr. Ruof began drilling but NEVER TOLD ME HOW MUCH EVERYTHING WOULD COST.. roughly an entire semester of university tuition. You would think after a conversation about how I spent the last year volunteering with refugees that I may not be able to swing the bill, but I digress. With half the work done, multiple temporary on-lays drilled and 2 cavities filled, I went for a second opinion.
Dentist # 2 is a friend of the family and a part time professor at the NYU school of Dentistry. He had to fix one cavity that I actually had (she didnt fill it completely) He told me that all of the inlays and onlays were purely cosmetic and unnecessary and because I grind my teeth that she should not be so drill happy.
I do not care to cosmetically fix the back of my molar. No one can see it.
Since Dr. Ruof, I have paid thousands of dollars to fix the damage of the on-lays that I did not need to begin with. I was in extreme pain for months after the various procedures and almost 2 years later am still dealing with the repercussions of her overeager desire to drill out all of my teeth.
Extremely positive experience. The office is warm and inviting, which is helpful for a dental practice! The staff from reception, assistants, hygienist to the dentist (I had Dr. Ruof) were all very friendly and professional, being able to put me at ease while also being very knowledgeable. Highly recommended!
office is very clean and front desk is extremely nice and helpful with insurance, appt booking and any questions. cleaning was great as well. hygenist was extremely attentive and thorough. made my teeth feel very clean afterwards!
also got a filling procedure here but am having some issues with pain afterwards. went back 2 weeks after the procedure for check up but was told to give it some more time. now, a month later, i'm still having pain when i bite down so it's time to revisit. hopefully sanding it down will alleviate the biting pain.
Great dentist, night and day difference from the old place I went. And crazy enough, they take my same insurance! It's amazing how much better I can get with the same insurance plan and I didn't even know it! Every person I met was super friendly and cheerful, and very personable. The atmosphere was like a nice hotel: classy, clean. Would definitely recommend to anyone, especially if you have MetLife Dental Insurance, as I don't even have a co-pay for regular cleanings!
Not only are my teeth sparkly clean, they did a thorough neck, and mouth check for cancer.
i thought i was flossing properly (i go in and side to side), but did you know you need to go back and forth?...bad explanation, they'll show you.
they didn't try to hustle me into getting any dental procedures done, and they have the most high tech equipment i've ever seen.
on top of that, everybody (reception, dental hygenists, dentists...)
this place is great, and i would send my family here if they lived in nyc.
thanks park dental!
This was my first dental appointment since moving to NYC and I was nervous as I have had some pretty miserable medical office experiences here. However, to my delight, the experience was perfect. Every one is professional yet friendly. They used equipment for the cleaning that I had never seen before and did not push me to have xrays until they receive the xrays from my former dentist. The best part was that I brought in a night guard that I rarely wore it as it was uncomfortable. Dr. Herman made me a new one which is far superior in comfort and I actually use it every night. I am thrilled to have been so lucky as to hit upon a wonderful dental practice. I will not be nervous to return and have faith that their advice and services will be in my best interests.
Dr. Spielman finished a crown and filling for me this morning. As always, he went out of his way to help me feel comfortable. I've been going to Park 56 for over four years and feel confident I am receiving the highest level of dental care. The staff is friendly and easy-going and it is such a pleasure to go there. A funny thing to say for someone who used to have an extreme fear of dentists. I am so impressed with Park 56 Dental that if I ever move, I will fly back here for my cleanings and dental work.
The clinical team and business team are top notch. They are friendly, considerate, very professional and accommodating. I've seen Dr. Abramsky as well as his colleagues for several years and never once disappointed with the treatment and care they provided.
They are on time, quick but very through and are always available to answer questions. The practice runs like a dream.
Park 56 Group is a top notch dental office with professional doctors and staff. The office is very modern and also so clean. My favorite part about going is my regular checkups with my Hygienist. In my opinion Erica Chamalian is the #1 Hygienist in the office she is highly shilled, knowledgeable, extreamly professional and put's in the extra effort each time I see her. Erica also takes the time to provide key information to her pacients and has totally the reason for me having impeccable dental hygiene today and for the future. Erica thank you for all your professionalism, hard work and most of all for the information that you provide on each visit. You are truly passionate about your profession it shows and your service has lead to my overall improved hygiene. I am very much looking forward to my next visit. Thank you for everything Erica and everyone at Park 56 keep up all the great work.
Like many, I am not a fan of going to the dentist, but finally I have found a hygienist that is knowledgeable, thorough and honest. Erica Chamalian at Park 56 Dental Group is the best hygienist that I have ever been to. She is honest, experienced, patient and very informative. She makes you comfortable for being at the dentist, and leaves you wanting to improve your dental health. Thank you Erica.
I've had more than 12 years experience at Park 56 Dental, and have only exemplary things to say. Must say that I've been in the chair many, many times and ALWAYS have felt incredible trust in these talented, CARING and extraordinary professionals. From the beginning my teeth and mouth were in disrepair and the Team of doctors at Park 56 have always provided help and service beyond my imagination, and frankly - beyond any expectations or even Hope that I may have had.
Dr. Phil Abramsky has been my primary go-to person for my mouth, but on occasion Drs. Rabinowitz, Spielman and Herman have worked on me. Always because what was called for has been their specialty...and I'm SO GRATEFUL to all of them. There is no way that I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.
They've helped me through thick and thin; always friendly, courteous and most important, absolutely capable. Countless times too, they could have done minimal work to help me through, but they are thorough and detailed. And they care about ME; not just my teeth. I actually believe that they must be the consummate group in their field. They have to be the envy of any dentist or dental group that would aspire to be the Very Best that one can be.
And by the way, my daughter is ALMOST as crazy about Dr. Abramsky as I am...... (he does magic tricks for kids/adults that are phenomenal). Invest your trust in Park 56 and you'll be happy you did.
Park 56 Dental was an absolutely amazing experience! Everyone was so kind! And, there was NO pain and the office was kept very clean. Erica Chamalian was a great hygenist! Very thorough a such a sweetheart! Thank you so much Park 56 Dental!
I have been going to Dr. Phil Abramsky for over 30 years already. He gave me six new top front teeth that are still solid after 14 years of continual use (two full crowns and four laminate veneers). Whenever I had any type of dental situation, he was available to me, literally within minutes, when I needed immediate care - before an audition or job interview. What is even more important, is that I am equally comfortable with any of his three partners, Dr. Rabinowitz, Dr. Herman, & Dr. Spielman. THEY RUN ON TIME, AND I HARDLY EVER HAVE TO WAIT TO BE SEEN !!! I highly recommend their quality, kind and gentle dentistry services.
Before I went to Dr. Jablow, I literally was embarrassed to smile, that's how brown and crooked my teeth were. Since she perfromed her magic -- pain free I have to add --now I get complimened all the time on my teeth and my smile. I am not exaggerating when I say that my dating life has taken off since Dr. Jablow fixed my smile. Do yourself a huge favor and book an appointment ASAP with her. Wow is all I can say. Just amazing results from the nicest professioanls around.
I have changed dentists so many times over the years, but never again. I used to hate going to the dentist, no longer. I can't believe I'm saying this, but I actually enjoy going to Park 56 Dental. They are the nicest group of professionals and their work is amazing, expecially that of Dr. Jennifer Jablow. She has fixed prior work and made my teeth beautifully white. All the time while NOT inflicting pain. Even sitting in the chair is a pleasant experience, they offer you bottled water, a flat screen television and headphones.
I never write reviews like this, but considerring how much better Park 56 Dental is compared to the other ten or so dental practices I have been to in the last 15 years, I could'nt resist. Do yourself a favor and immediately switch to Park 56.!!!
I LOVE Park 56th and Dr. Abramsky! I have been going there for years and I cannot begin to tell everyone how nice, accommodating, comfortable, and clean the staff and office are. I have very sensitive teeth and Dr. Abramsky always fits me in and takes care of my issues. Even when I go in for cleanings he always makes it a point to see me and make sure my teeth are looking their best!!!! I highly recommend Park 56th.
The people at Park 56 Dental have been fantastic. From the receptionists, to the hygienists, all the way up to my dentist, they always make me feel right at home and provide me with the best care! I have referred them to everyone in my office! Thank you Park 56!
My experiences at Park 56 Dental have been extremely pleasant. The doctors provide great care and the staff is as friendly and helpful as possible. The environment is comfortable and inviting.
Saw Dr. Abramsky who tried to impress me by dropping names. I found him pompous and annoying. He also asks questions while your mouth is wide open and you cannot possibly answer. This practice is also way overpriced.
My childhood dental care was poor so I came to Dr. Ruof with many old silver fillings and teeth that would crack if I ate an almond or a bowl of granola. I lived with the fear that my next bite would cause another broken tooth. My gums were receding and I was very discouraged by the discomfort. Then I found Dr. Ruof. She put me on a plan for restoring my teeth so they looked natural and I was no longer in pain. She was reassuring and calm and inspired confidence in me. And she's so humorous; she made me laugh at each visit! I did not think a dentist like Dr. Ruof existed and I am so pleased to be in her care.
Park 56 Dental is a wonderful office--very professional and efficient. Dr. Ruof is extremely competent and thorough as well as very friendly and kind.
Great practice and, in particular ,Dr. Ruof was incredible.
I have avoided the dentist in the past due to anxiety, but she made the visit fun and painless.
I hardly ever write reviews but my experience at Park 56 Dental definitely is deserving of one.
I highly recommend Dr. Laura Ruof. She is extremely professional, friendly, timely and very knowledgeable. The office as a whole is extremely efficient with proficient and efficient service. I receive the utmost care and consideration upon visits and cannot imagine going anywhere else.
Park 56 Dental and especially Dr. Laura Ruof, deserve five stars.
I started going to Dr. Ruof last year. She was wonderful, extremely professional, kind, and efficient. She has beautiful teeth as well, which is always reassuring to see! I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a new dentist. Additionally, the Park 56 office ambiance was extremely relaxing and I did not have to wait. I give Dr. Ruof and the office 5 stars!
I have been going to Park 56 for years and I would definitely recommend this office to friends and family! Each time I am greeted with a smile. The staff is personable, genuine, and professional. I have gone to Dr. Spielman for years and every visit I have been impressed by his work. He most recently made a permanent retainer for me and has made porcelain veneers for me in the past. He has literally transformed my smile! Also, his hygentist Maritza is wonderful! She is kind and charismatic and incredibly attentive to her patients. This is the place to go!
I have to say, Park 56 Dental is a very well organized group. The Staff at the front desk always have a smile when you walk through the door, and they are very friendly. My first visit I had Dr. Spielman and his hygenist Maritza. Both of them are a great team. They know exactly what they are doing. They are professional, yet very friendly when they work on you. After my first visit. I was very impressed with the finishing results. I will definatly recommend this office to friend, because they are one great practice.J.B.
Professionalism, state of the art equipment. TALENT, KINDNESS, GREAT RESULTS....This practice has it all!!
Rightfully proud of the exceptional results they get. (Paraphrasing Neil Young): Long May You Run !!
Dr. Herman has been my dentist for over 20 years. He used to take care of my cleanings before they hired all of the wonderful hygienists. Dr. Herman also did my porcelain veneers, and I get compliments all the time about how beautiful my smile is.
The office itself is wonderful. The front desk staff is always so friendly when you walk in. You are rarely ever sitting in the waiting room for too long, but for any time you are waiting, they offer creature comforts such as Internet access, cold drinks, and comfortable couches. It is not like any typical doctor's office you would walk into. It is beautifully decorated and has some amazing artwork up all over the offfice. Some of the art is even Dr. Herman's own artwork!
The hygienists are all very caring and friendly. While I try to see the same one or two hygienists each time for continuity (Erica or Nancy), I never have a problem accepting an appointment with another hygienist because they are all great. They are gentle and will respond to any request you have to make you more comfortable. There is also a flat screen TV in every room to keep you relaxed.
Dr. Rabinowitz is the best dentist I've ever had the pleasure to visit. I have been through multiple procedures with him, including gum surgery, and he is the kind of person who makes something terrible seem like a walk in the park. He gets to know his patients in order to better serve them and make them most comfortable. He will have you laughing so hard, you will forget what lies ahead! Dr. Rabinowitz also has a wonderful assistant, Kenya, who creates the most well rounded dental team in the city!
Dr. Rabinowitz has been my dentist for 9 years. I can't say more what a great dentist he is. He does great work and takes time with his patients. If I have a question, he always takes the time to answer before performing the procedure, explaining to me what he is doing and never makes you feel like you are asking a dumb question. He likes to joke around, but once he gets down to business, he is all business. No one can expect dental work to be painless, but his work reduces the pain as much as possible. The rest of his staff is professional and respectful. I would recommend highly.
I moved to Manhattan almost six years ago, with no idea about dentists or dental practices. Before moving to the East Coast, I had used the same dentist my entire life. I readily admit that I am almost phobic about my dental care, following braces and all kinds of appliances and extractions as a young person. It took me almost a year to discover Park 56, but I'm so glad I did. Dr. Rabinowitz is exceptional and his staff is amazing. I actually look forward to going to the dentist now. The receptionists, hygienists, and other dentists in this practice are wonderful. You will not find a practice that can offer more thorough, highly competent, experienced, or skilled dental care ANYWHERE else in the Manhattan area. I cannot say enough to support Park 56 Dental.
It is very difficult to find an amazing group of professional and caring dentists in NYC. But I lucked out the day I found Dr. Jennifer Jablow during a desperate search one day. I remember when I first made the call for a consultation. I spoke to Michelle, who was not only friendly but patient as she heard my story and the problem I was having. She knew immediately I had to see Dr. Jablow.
From the moment you walk in the staff greets you and makes you feel comfortable and at ease. Even my 11 year old daughter who wasn't a fan of going to her dental appointments can't wait till she has to go to Park56.
For cleanings I see Erica who is in a word--amazing. I've never met a hygienist who offers so many neat tips on how to keep up the health of your gums in between visits.
My go to dentist is Dr. Jablow. What can I say except she is outstanding! She's super sweet and a master at her craft. She not only cares but she actually listens and develops a detailed treatment plan for you. If I'm in pain, if I have a cavity, or for a simple follow up Dr Jablow is the lady I run to. She's an expert on teeth and on having that perfect smile! Along with her assistant, Mercedes, they are the PERFECT team!
This is the only place I've gone to that they don't make you sit for hours in the waiting room, they don't rush you out of the chair, they have flexible times to see who you need to see, awesome with kids, and work with you on payment options.
I can't rave enough about the friendly dentists & staff. If you need to make a dental appointment or if you're looking for a new dentist make sure you call Park 56!!!
When people here in Rhode Island ask me "Why would you have a dentist in New York?? My answer is this. ??I could leave behind just about everything offered in New York City (friends excluded) but I could never give up my dentist?. Let??s face it, when it comes down to health care you really want to have a relationship with the Doctor caring for you and that is especially true with Dental Health. You need to trust your Doctor, know they have the best training, education and what they are recommending is exactly the right course of treatment for you. I get that from Jeffrey Rabinowitz and he gets it, too. That??s why his patients stay on for so long.
When you go to their practice you get the whole package. That is because everyone there gets it. It is hard to describe exactly what it is!
I think I have had just about every type of treatment known to mankind. I??m a child of the 50??s when dental care was in the dark ages. OK?.HERE IS THE GORY PART?.I??ve had sinus uplifts, bone grafts, implants, and bridges that would expand across Narragansett Bay. That is pretty serious stuff. His skills are truly extraordinary. The care given to me during all of these procedures were over the top. I love the entire staff at Park 56 Dental Group. I never dread going to the dentist. I love it!
Yes, we all know Jeffrey could use some new joke material. But when he??s drilling away on me like a banshee I like his singing. He knows all the words. I??ve been his patient for about 25 years. I consider him a friend and fantastic Doctor.
I have been going to Dr Rabinowitz for over 17 years now...he is an exceptional dentist...my teeth look great..all of his dentistry is painless and he is really quite skilled. Everyone in the office is great. If you have had surgery, etc. Dr Rabinowitz always calls to check on you..he is really interested in his patients and concerned. A superb dentist and a nice guy! Btw...everyone in the office is great!
So I have been a patient of Dr. Rabinowitz for over 26 years, I call him Jeffery. He has helped me through, gum issues, cavities, root canals, not loving those. He is the "Best Dentist" and I'll tell u why? He is so caring, kind, competent, and I just really trust him! I have sent many people to him and everyone always thanks me...saying , "what a great referral, thanks, he is a wonderful dentist"! He even has called me on his vacation when I had a very bad tooth infection to see how I was...That meant a lot to me. His office is very friendly everyone from the hygienist to all of his partners. Over the years I think I have seen all of them on occasion for biting on a life saver and cracking my tooth...They have all been there for me. I would recommend PARK 56 to everyone and anyone needing a wonderful dentist. Your teeth are a very important part of your health. So call tomorrow and make an appointment , My favorite is Dr. Rabinowitz but they all are great!! Betsy Karp...Certified Health and Wellness Counselor
I have been a patient with Dr Rabinowitz for about 18 years, I really trust him and have had great work done with he and his associates at Park 56.
All the staff are really friendly and accommodating and give honest options about treatments. I personally have gone from being part of the corporate world and not worrying about pricing to now being self employed where I really have to be careful at times about procedures and they have been great about giving me different options and not just pushing the most expensive ones and explaining the differences. The only bad part is Dr Rabinowitzs attempt at my english accent and his bad jokes, but then again that is pretty funny, I have and will recommend anyone looking for a new dentist to meet with the Dental staff at Park 56.
A BIG problem in NY is finding dentists that you can really trust - when is the last time you heard someone use the term "Honorable" about a dentist? Well - they are. And that's why I won't go anywhere else. This is definately the place to come for a second opinion - I promise that you will not regret discovering their wealth of knowledge and skill.
This group was super selective, and have only hired talented dentists (and specialists) and office staff that care - they will explain exactly what is going on, what their recommendation is, why they are recommending it, and what your other options are - and the probable outcomes of those options. They are happy to call in a partner for a second opinion, or refer you to anyone of your choosing. They are truly concerned about your dental health, and aren't afraid of second opinions - because they are REALLY good at what they do, and they routinely call each other in for informal consults! (So you'll get 2- or 3- for the price of one, anyway!!!)
The partners are all board-certified for years, and know the current literature well. They have developed new techniques, and publish often - as well as act as resources for themedical section of the news outlets. And the staff are amazing. You won't find a better spport staff anywhere.
Importantly , they give you the option of choice - and, unlike some other providers, don't bully you into THEIR choice. If you are hesitant because of your work schedule or current finances, they work with you to help you be able to do want you WANT to do for your dental health, not what time or currentent finances may seems to be dictating. Weekend schedules, early/late hours, payments plans, whatever....
I have needed root canals, oral surgery, routine fillings, cleanings - everything. I've had bad teeth since childhood. They have all the different specialists come in on different days, so it is one-stop care - outstanding care. And cells phones for reaching them after any procedure, with follow-up calls, even on Holidays!
And - pain? None. They are super-careful about making a visit as positive an experience as possible. One is a real magician, others are anesthetic specialists - whatever works best for you to releive pain, they will do - including magic tricks to put you at ease.
My guy?? Dr. Rabinowitz. Fun, sweet, gentle, adorable, laughs easily, sings while he is thinking, and totally puts me at ease. As a pediatric medical person - that's the personality I like. But, like a REALLY good pediatric specialist - is frighteningly smart and amazing at what he does. He's willing to think about my suggestions... and follow them, as well as think outside the box and really problem-solve.
So... call them. You won't regret the call. You CAN have a dentist you look forward to seeing!
Park 56 Dental Group is my second home.....Why???? Because their expertise is second to none. I was not blessed with great teeth and have needed a lot of work done.....and thank heaven I have this amazing group of gifted dentists. Doctors Rabinowitz and Herman have done an incredible job with my implants.....its as if I have had them all my life. Oh yeah, these guys and the entire staff are extremely warm, caring and highly efficient. I could not imagine going to another dental practice. I have also recommended Park 56 to other people and will continue to do so.
I can without a doubt confirm that Drm Abramsky is the consumate dentist. His care, attentiveness professionalisn and humor took the ansgt out of a potentially paonful experience. He is a magician in every sense of the word and this office is full service for basic family dental care, cosmetic work and even endodontic work
I am not a fan of dentists. It is one of my least favorite things to do. That being said, Park 56...due to their professional approach, customer-service orientation, spa-like surroundings and technical talent has become an experience I look forward to. It is a pleasure and a privledge to know that I am in such capable and compassionate hands...literally. I have recommended Park 56 to a number of friends and every one of them has been completely satisfied and thanked me.
Park 56 dental has been nothing but professional. Both the staff and the Dr's have been very attentive and did the job required without taking any shortcuts. I highly recommend them and will continue to do so.
I was introduced to Dr. Abramsky and Park 56 Dental by a neighbor and wow am I glad I was. Their service, staff and facilities are all top notch. I never thought I would enjoy going to the dentist but Park 56 has successfully erased any scars I had from horrible childhood experiences. They have also completely transformed my smile... and I smiled through the whole process. Most of my family and tons of colleagues have seen my results and are now fans of Park 56 as well!
Dr. Rabinowitz was the first dentist recommended to me when I moved to NYC 22 years ago, and I've been seeing him ever since. His professionalism, expertise, and friendly nature, as well as that of his colleagues and staff have given me no reason to look elsewhere. The practice's commitment to keeping up with the latest technology inspires me with confidence that my dental well-being is their utmost priority.
