This was a nightmare!!!!! The people all sounded nice on the phone while not delivering my IKEA cabinets. Once I was complaining because they didn't deliver and said that my guard gate sent them away (DID NOT HAPPEN! Everything is on video, they never came) they became rude. They still have my merchandise in their Urban Express Ikea warehouse but they cannot reschedule the delivery. Sounds like theft to me!!!! Don't ever use this company if you can help it!!!

Showed up twenty minutes into my delivery window, I got a call at 3:21PM saying they were on site and would wait fifteen minutes. No problem I was just around the corner from my home, within site of my block.

I'm at my front door at 3:24PM and no one is there. Called and customer service says they waited until 3:40PM, even though I was on the phone with them at 3:33PM while they were telling me this. The best part is they wanted to charge me $50 to re-deliver. Definitely a scam company.

DONT BELIVE THE HYPE - clearly UX is posting these 5-star (..no I swear I am a real 5-star fan of this service) Laughable. I used - or tried using these guys with IKEA and the entire thing was a logistical disaster that resulted in me cancelling a $3,400 order - today I happily went with BoConcept and dint mind dropping the extra dollars there for a seamless experience. With these guys - 14 phone calls between IKEA and UX and every time the UX person seemed more confused about which piece they were delivering when and whether they scheduled assembly or IKEA. VERY POORLY trained. I partially fault IKEA as well for choosing such a lousy service - lowest bidder anyone? Disaster - stay away or buy your stuff on site.

Recently, we had quite a bit of computer equipment to send over from 666 5th Ave to 1740 Broadway. I let the messenger know that he could split it up into a few days to make it easier for him but he took charge and had it completed in one day without hesitation or concern. His hard work ethic, professionalism, and dependability are greatly appreciated. He did a great job for us, transporting important equipment between sites to enable our clients to have what they need.

I just want to thank Urban Express for their great service which was provided to my family and me on New Year??s Eve in IKEA Brooklyn. A young man by the name of Mario made sure that we were taken care of and also provided ice cream for my kids. This just shows how much a company and their staff cares about the customer. Thank you.

The installer came and did a fabulous job of putting together the bed frame, the adjustable bed, and putting the mattress on top of it all. He made sure that everything worked correctly. He centered the bed on the wall exactly where I wanted it and did so without grumbling. He did a great job. He was meticulous about his work and was paying attention to every detail. Thank you for sending him. He was great and did a great job.

The delivery team had to maneuver 161 boxes to the 8th floor and they worked both quickly and efficiently. It??s very difficult to find hard workers these days and this team really worked hard.

In the last year UX has proven to be a good business partner. The service level of the delivery personnel and supervision by the dispatchers has been very good. As far as transportation providers go I think UX is one of the best. The amount of work they are performing for IKEA today is quite large yet the quality and service is excellent. Today UX is the largest home delivery provider for IKEA in all North America. UX has been very responsive to the IKEA home delivery strategy and has been a major contributor to its success. We are very proud of our partnership with UX Specialized Logistics and I would highly recommend their service.

I dealt with a customer service rep name Maurice and he was extra nice. He understood my work situation and went above and beyond to accommodate me. He definitely put the customer first. This was my first experience with IKEA and Urban Express and I would recommend both. Your company and your staff are the best.

The delivery team who handled my order was fantastic. They were fast and really professional. He was very careful with the furniture and my walls. I had movers from elsewhere earlier this week who weren??t nearly as careful so I really appreciate the time and effort.

My delivery team arrived on time, introduced themselves at the door and carried out the entire delivery process in a very professional manner. The bed delivered was actually a surprise for my daughter and when she came in from school she was ecstatic. Keep up the great work.

I would give Urban Express a 0 rating if possible. they have the worst customer service and they treat customers like dirt. I had a wall unit mounted and after 11 months it fell off breaking the HD TV underneath it in the process. the total damage is close to $1,000. It turns out that the UE guy didn't even mount the wall unit on the studs. i called them several times to complain and every single time the operator tells me that the complaint manager will call me back. Once, they put on hold for 35 minutes. Eventually, I went to the Brooklyn store to complain and the personnel there threatened me there to call the police if I didn't leave. They didn't even jhave the decency to send a manager to discuss with me. It is an abonimation and I am stunned that IKEA is using them as a partner. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!

7.22.10 Placed order for delivery at BRU of Deptford, NJ. Was promised I'd receive a call from delivery company within 24 hours to schedule.
7.23.10 Received confirmation call from BRU that order had been transmitted to UE. I was provided a phone number to follow up.
7.23.10 Spoke to Jesse in CS -- confirmed receipt of order, was told I'd receive a call within 24 hours to discuss delivery
7.27.10 Followed up as no call was received as yet -- was told that the wrong number was on file. Corrected number and provided second number to Jesse at UE, told to await call. Jesse actually interupted me midsentence on this call. That was fun.
7.29.10 Followed up again with Jesse - was told our technician had finally been assigned and that we'd get a call when he returned "from the field"
8.1.10 Physically went to BRU to follow up on delivery -- manager emailed UE through their online interface to prompt action.
8.1.10 9 PM received a call from customer service director at UE (on correct phone number, obviously) apologizing and assuring contact for delivery scheduling first thing in the morning.
8.2.10 No call as promised.
8.3.10 Received a call from BRU furniture manager -- yet another CSR received their note, called the store to tell them that they'd called us multiple times but I hadn't called them back. Hmmm? (Caller ID and voicemail on all provided numbers proves this is incorrect.)
8.3.10 I email Christine Chan after finding that the email boxes online at urban express's website are all defunct. She replies politely and apologizes, promises prompt action.
8.3.10 10 PM receive call from "technician" who wouldn't give a name (amazingly they now have the correct number and reach me without incident) attempting to schedule delivery for 11 a.m. 8.4.10 -- an impossibility given my schedule and such short notice. I am promised a call back first thing to schedule.
8.4.10 mid day - call from yet another CSR at UE explaining they've "been trying to reach me" (probably covering for themselves after BRU and Christine Chan followed up on my behalf) and ultimately scheduling for 8.9.10.
8.9.10 Furniture is finally delivered - a full 19 days after delivery order was issued. Delivery workers were courteous, helpful and very polite, I can say.

Christine was, I suppose, helpful? Or perhaps it was BRU following up that assisted us in getting service? But in no way was this a satisfactory experience. I would never pay $90 for this "service" again.

When they came to assemble the product they broke one of the parts and didn't say anything. When we saw that they had broken the piece they took it back and then scheduled for re-assembly -- get this -- we waited 4 hours for them to come and they didn't come -- now -- 16 hours of waiting periods and 4 days later we are sitting in our apartment without the wardrobe assembled. THIS IS THE WORST COMPANY I HAVE EVER HAD PROVIDE ANY TYPE OF SERVICE. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND GOING WITH THE OTHER SERVICE.
