I bought my car from here and they were lovely to work with. Service is handy because they have a restaurant so they can do repairs over lunch.

Sierra Chevrolet in Monrovia is the worst dealership I have ever encountered. They have never gotten a repair right for me the first time, sometimes even after 2 or 3 attempts. They perform unnecessary repairs, and are very expensive.

An absoutely horrable dealership.

well let me start off by saying my experience w/sierra auto cars started when I was about to buy my honda. Well the salesman who helped me was very professional and then when I bought my car but then all crap broke loose. First when I went to go pick up my car the lady in the finance office was rude as they come luckily my god-father was w/me because I wanted to cuss her out but he did it for me. Then after having my car for about 3 weeks I get a call from the lady in the finance office telling me that I had to bring the car back because she said that the financing fell through and they were going to give me another car for an additional $500 to go along w/the down payment and the car they were going to give me was a piece of crap. Come to find out the lady in the finance office screwed up the paperwork. Well all in all I was able to get the car that I originally bought back. Then about a year later I was driving home and I had a light come on in my car and I was concerned so I went to the dealership and I asked a guy who worked in the service dept and he told me that the light was on because I needed a oil change and I said how long should I keep driving my car w/this light on and he told me I can drive months with this light on because he has seen other drivers drive months and years with this light on so I have nothing to worry about I thought that was very unprofesssional and days later I came back to get my oil changed and the guy who did the oil changed told me that had I kept driving with this light on I would've ruined my engine and when I told him what the other guy had told me he said what are you going to do listen to me or listen to him. That's why I take my car to horizon in covina who work on hondas and acuras and they are more professional

Great Chevy shopping experience. Not a huge dealership so the attention to the customer is better than other places my wife and I visited. We ended up buying at Sierra and were treated well and got a great deal without having to haggle for hours. Wish our other car shopping experiences were as easy as Sierra's.

I would avoid this dealership, if it were me.

The service center proved to be quite sub-standard for me. If you like having the same repair made no less than FOUR times (for a simple repair), then you'll be happy here. Maybe you like looking around at cars on the lot and wasting time at dealerships. Not me.

They are so bad, the service advisor and manager sent my car home twice indicating it was "the best they could do" only to later admit parts should have been ordered and the job should have been done right on the first response.

This dealer represents too many manufacturers to get any one of them right. I highly recommend going to virtually ANY Subaru dealer that carries exclusively that brand, as opposed to this one.

General manager never acknowledged my concerns. Don't expect the regional service manager to do much either. He never called, even when asked to do so.

I'm taking my business some place that's reputable.

I have my Isuzu Trooper take it to repair and diagnos a solenoid problem and said they don't have a parts will ship overnight for additional $200.00 (They are Isuzu parts and service dealer) which I said no rush I can take a bus and wait until parts arrive. Then after a week said they called me when they try to put solenoid they notice lots of scrap metal found that I need a transmission. I told him that why it was diagnos before and takes a week to tell me a transmission problem becoming more and more to grind me until I decided to pull out my car and go somewhere else mechanic.
So beware with this Sierra Autocars in Monrovia repair its a completely rip off auto repair.

Sierra used to be great but lately, I've had a lot of problems. My Odyssey dies at random intervals while driving. I spent $600 on a repair but the car still dies. Stephen at Sierra said they won't refund because he said that according to their tests, the car is fine. So I'm out my $600 + the car still dies.

Took my car in for service for oil & filter change and to diagnose a problem. Problem was that my car stopped running once while I was driving. I wanted them to figure out why it stopped. Customer service rep (Steven) suggested an electronic diagnostic test. They said the relay was defective and they replaced it. Well when I go to my vehicle after it's done, I noticed a screw on the floor of the drivers seat and also electric wires hanging underneath the driver's side. Steven said that it was no problem, instead of taking responsibility for the technician's work. Well obviously my problem wasn't fixed as the next day my car stopped running while I was driving. I went back and let Steven know, but he was being unprofessional about it and said the problem was fixed since I requested that the relay be replaced. He was basically being all cocky about it. So I left and vowed never to go back there again. I had my problem fixed elsewhere. Also a week later, I was curious to see if my filter was changed and it was not! It was so filthy that I had to do my own filter change! Talk about trying to screw a customer. I don't recommend this place at all!

Yesterday I went car shopping with my boyfiend. Wow there are big differences between dealerships. We went to one in Santa MOnica and the salesman was very pushy and would not let us leave. At this location they were helpful but not too pushy. They wanted us to be happy with the car and were not trying to "make a sale" the salesman was telling us how they like to be more layed back. It was a great establishment. It took about 2 hrs to go through the whole process of test driving, financing, and signing the paper work. He drove home with the car that day.
