I live in a home near the ocean, which has been extremely costly to insure over the years. I had my insurance with another local agency who used to have the only option for flood insurance. When I found out that my flood policy would be increasing from $300 annually to almost $2,000 a year due to flood maps changing, I called my agency for help. Unfortunately, I was told there was nothing they could do.

In a passing conversation with Ed from Chase and Lunt, I mentioned my problem to him. A few days (and apparently a lot of research) later he called with a new quote from a company that was honoring old flood maps, right near my original $300 policy.

I can't thank them enough for saving me over $1,500 a year!!

I just recently switched to Chase & Lunt. I wasn't happy with the service I was getting from my other agent. The customer service rep. at Chase & Lunt sat with me and went over my insurance in great detail. She was able to write my auto and home with the same company and it saved me quite a bit of money.

I have had my home and auto with Chase and Lunt Insurance for several years now, and I have always been pleased with the amount of care and service I received on my account. However, after a recent move I was amazed at the help I got from the agency and the savings they were able to provide!

After moving into a large city, my current carrier's premium was set to skyrocket, but agent at Chase and Lunt took the time to sit down and find me the company that would better fit my needs. I would up not only with a better price ($400 less!) but also increased coverage!!

I couldn't be happier and would recommend them to anybody that asks.

Unfortunately I found them cumbersome to deal with and decided to switch to a large national company that did everything through a call center and usps. I was hoping to find an in town agent similar to my prior hometown experience, but they were not as easy to deal with as expected. I also felt that they did not work hard enough to get the best premium on my policies.

Response to Susan Dear Susan: Thank you for taking the time to write about our company. I am disappointed you did not have a good experience but we can not get better unless we hear about it. We try to have the best of both worlds with 20 employees representing the top companies in our region while still providing an outstanding level of personal service from a local business. Unlike large companies with call centers, all of our Account Managers and Agents have specific client relationships. The positive is that you are always dealing with the same person and hopefully developing a relationship with someone who knows you and cares about you. In our ads, you will notice that we have received our industry's highest awards for service and have been voted the Region's best agency in several reader polls. However nice these plaques and awards make us feel, they mean very little to us if we have an unhappy client.
