Teddy Bear Pools & Spas

I bought a spa from another dealer in Ludlow, MA about a year ago. They have been no help. The Teddy Bear Pools Staff has been exceptional even though I didnt buy from them. I should have.
My Advice Buy From Teddy Bear Pools & Spas you wont regret it, especially if something goes wrong. They are extremely helpful.

Teddy Bear Rocks! I was having big problems with my filter and could not keep my pool clear. It turns out the filter I had for my in ground pool was an above ground filter. The parts staff was great the walked me through every filter they have and asked me questions to see which filter would best suit my needs.

I had the Teddy Bear service department install the filter and with in 2 day my water was crystal clear. That is exactly what they said would happen.

My recommendation to all who need help with your pool. Go to Teddy Bear, Ask Questions and listen they know what they are talking about.

I have a 20 x 40 inground swimming pool that Teddy Bear Pool put in for us. The first liner when the pool was new was beautiful. No creases or any problems workmanship wise.

A number of years later, the liner had been torn by the kids and repaired several times and wasn't looking too great.

I bought a new liner from Teddy Bear Pool and they installed it. This was in the fall and they closed the pool at the same time. I did not get to inspect it at that time.

When the pool was opened the following Spring the liner had creases in it, the sides had been pulled too tight against the pool walls and you could see every seam and bump on the walls or it could be that the foam was too thin. The top edge all around failed to go up to the bottom of the coping and all sorts of things go down there such as pine needles floating in the pool. If the kids splash it goes down that opening.

When the pool was opened the subsequent Spring I found those problems and called Teddy Bear Pools. Teddy came with the service manager to see the problem for himself.

He told me it was because we had a wet backyard. Well they installed the pool when it was new and nothing had changed in my backyard to make it wetter. in fact it was drier because we had paid for a lot of additional professional drain work, $5000 worth!

When they were getting the big bucks on the original pool installation,, they were able to properly install the liner correctly.

In all honesty it was fine when it was first installed. We had no problem with water getting under the liner. We had paid for extra rock for drainage below the pool bottom. We also had a dry well with automatic pump to remove excess water from the area.

My yard was much drier than when the pool was originally installed!

Teddy refused to correct the problems. Said nothing was wrong with the top edge. Said the creases were because I have a wet backyard.

The original liner had been in for 8 years and there was not one crease in it. With the original liner the sides came up to the area just below the coping and debris couldn't get behind the liner. And the original liner wsn't pulled too tight against the pool walls showing the frame work of the light, the seams and all sorts of things you don't expect to see if the liner is put in correctly with adequate foam. a

He said the property was too wet and he said he would have to charge me for the correction. I had no money. I was going through a divorce and struggling. I had made arrangements to make payments over the winter for the work and the liner.

For some reason, I had not gotten the original invoice. When I asked for it two years ago, guess what? There is a written guaranty on labor.

So we have lived with the problem. It is embarrassing to have a pool look like this. We can see the steel panels at the top between the coping and the liner top. It's hard to clean because the Kreepy Krauley gets stuck on the creases. We stopped inviting people over to swim because it looks horrible.

Make sure you get everything in writing.

Make sure you are home and inspect their work. Don't let them do work and close the pool right away.

Better still, find another company to put a liner in your pool. A company that is honorable and not like Teddy Hebert. He took my money and ran.

This pool/spas place is really of good quality. Our pool is sturdy and is working very well. The price is good, though the bigger the pricier. They also have all the right chemicals. If in need of aquatic services, grab your Teddy!

Teddy Bear Pools and Spas is the place to go if you want a great product and excellent service that will stand behind it. Their staff is helpful and friendly. They run some great deals during Big E time. This is the place to go if you want a pool or hot tub! We won't buy a hot tub unless it is from here.

We purchased a hot tub from Teddy Bear about 7 years ago and have had only a few minor issues with it. The service Teddy Bear provides is great and the quality of the spa is impressive.

For the last 3 or 4 years we have been using Teddy Bear Pools. They installed our above ground pool. We have had no trouble with it! We bring our water there to be tested and the service is great. If you have any questions they answer them. It is great service!

This is the second pool that I purchased from Teddy Bear Pools. They are a very reliable company who stands by there material. Whenever I have a problem with my pool I just call them and they are very responsive and helpful. I feel very confident buying a pool from them.

We've bought two Teddy Bear Pools in the last six years. First we had an above ground pool installed and after moving to a new house, we had them install an inground pool. They are a very profession company. They give reasonable quotes and do a great job on installation. They always go above and beyond what you expect.

We live in WEstfield near Teddy Bears competitor, but always use Teddy Bear for our service issues. We have hot tub and ingroung pool and whenever we have a question or need service theya re fast, friendly, and priced right.

This is a terrific place if you have pool or hot tub. They never steer you wrong! The staff is very helpful and professional. We once went to a different pool place, spent $135 on chemicals and the pool still couldn't be used. We took our problem to Teddy Bear, and they fixed it for $16.

I shopped at Teddy Bear for the end of the year clearance. They had great prices and the staff was nice. It is not in a convenient location, but it is worth the ride.
