Custard is like the thickest creamiest ice cream you can imagine. Once you've tried it, it will be hard to try normal ice cream without making comparisons. Old School's custard is awesome. I recommend the concretes, which are kinda like DQ's blizzards, but with custard.

Before I came to OSFC, I'd never had frozen custard. What I decided is that it's kind of like the soft serve you'd have in your college dorm food hall, but 100 times better. The texture is what I love -- smoother than ice cream, although it's not necessarily creamier (and it has lower fat content). I tend to stick to the chocolate, which they have every day along with vanilla and one other specialty flavor du jour (the huckleberry was good). They make their own waffle cones and you can get sundaes plus all the other "old school" favorites like hot dogs and candy bars. The photos of old Seattle high schools and the classroom desks complete the ambience. Yay for Capitol Hill frozen treats!
