Sarcone, Julie ARNP-Mercy West Family Practice

I went to Julie for a few years for my well woman care as well as any health concerns that arose. I went in one day wanting a referral to a dermatologist for a bump on my leg. Julie said it was no big deal and she would just remove it at the office. Well, she removed it and stitched up the hole. Well, the wound opened up after the stitches were removed and the bump grew back. So, I just called and asked for a referral to the derm. She did give me one. When I saw the derm he was very surprised that a ARNP would have tried to remove the bump (because of what kind of condition it was). He referred me to a plastic surgeon because her repair had left a huge scar (which needed to be removed) and said I should have gone to him in the first place. Oh well. But, I wish she would have had better judgement.
