Thieves. Sold me a vehicle that had an issue they could not have been in the dark over. The TPMS light was on, and they played it off. So it turns out the unit(s) were broke. After months of back and forth trying to get them to fix this

Check the car before buying and ask for at least one month warranty. They are selling broken cars which you will need to fix and pay a lot of money. Do not look at the price as you will pay much more after all. Furthermore, the do not care

Before October 20th 2010, I'd never met or spoken with this auto brokers office. I'd driven past it hundreds of times, but was not in the market for a replacement vehicle.

I did locate, via the on line Auto Trader, a 2007 Lexus LS 460

CBS Atlanta Investigates: Crashed Cars
POSTED: 2:23 pm EDT May 5, 2009

ATLANTA -- A questionable car dealership has shut its doors following a CBS Atlanta investigation which exposed a used car dealer hiding major accident damage on the cars they sell to you.

Not only has Ultra Cars of Roswell shut down, CBS Atlanta found many of their used cars are now being sold by a dealer just down the road.

Several victims have called us with complaints that they were sold a crashed car by Ultra Cars. Now the Secretary of State??s office has launched its own investigation.

When Keith Newton bought a used Honda last year, safety was on the top of his mind.

"My son was 24-years-old and he was killed 2 years ago in a terrible car accident,? said Newton.

Newton wanted to make certain the rest of his family was safe.

He was lured into Atlanta Ultra Cars by their low prices and a promise that none of the used cars on their lot had been in a wreck, but our investigation discovered those low prices came at another cost.

The dealership was buying cars that were announced at auction as having frame damage, but the accidents did not show up on the Carfax history report and the dealer was using that clean report as their proof the cars were accident-free.

"We just bought into the whole thing. Every car on the lot looked great,? said Newton.

Newton bought the car and a few months later he got in an accident.

??Mr. Newton could have very well been killed in this collision,? said mechanic Jeffery Synoweic.

Synoweic said the crash could have killed Newton because Ultra Cars sold him a car that had already been in a major wreck. The damage was only cosmetically covered-up before the car was placed back on the road.

"It was nothing less than a glue bonding that was holding it together,? said Synoweic.

Teresa Adams was also a customer of Atlanta Ultra Cars.

??That makes me think they are just a bunch of crooks and criminals out to take money from people,? said Adams.

She bought a $30,000 Lexus sports coupe after Ultra Cars handed her a clean Carfax report.

??My sales person swore up and down it has never been in an accident,? said Adams.

Adams only learned about the damage on her car when she took it to Carmax a few months later.

"Carmax valued the car at $17,000 because it had been hit,? said Adams.

So CBS Atlanta went back to ultra cars to get their response.

Less than 2 weeks after our investigation aired, Ultra Cars shut their doors and was now replaced by Capital Automotive.

"Do you all have any responsibility for those cars," asked Investigator Wendy Saltzman.

"No, but we have given the number for whoever used to be here,? said Maira Montya.

The number Montoya gave us was for Atlanta Auto Lease, another use car dealer down the road.

Our investigation revealed the CEO for Ultra Cars is also listed on the state corporate records for Atlanta Auto Lease.

We also found the cars from the Ultra Cars lot on the Atlanta Auto Lease lot.

"We want to talk to someone about you guys selling crashed cars,? said Saltzman.

"I don't sell crashed cars. So please don't film me," said a salesman.

"But you guys are selling the same cars that were on the lot at Ultra Cars and you have the same owners,? said Saltzman.

"Ma'am I will call the cops if you keep getting in my face, seriously,? said the salesman.

Ultra Cars?? old vehicles were now being advertised on the Atlanta Auto Lease Web site. The pictures even showed Ultra Cars in the background.

"I'm just sorry I got taken for,? said Adams.

And while Adams lost about $12,000 on the car she bought from Ultra Cars, Newton says he's lost his piece of mind.

"I think it's criminal,? said Newton. "I just keep thinking what if my children were with me?"

The owner of Atlanta Auto Lease wasn't on the lot when we visited, but by telephone he confirmed he had bought several of Ultra Cars used cars because he got them for half price.

Even though Ultra Cars' CEO is on his corporate papers, he claims no relationship.

Atlanta Auto Lease has hired an attorney and refused to speak with CBS Atlanta about their responsibility for those crashed cars.

Apparently the good reviews that this company had received are coming from their employees/friends. These people are shady??..STAY AWAY?..Went to this dealership was a complete waste of my time. The cars were over priced per the Blue Book value. Also, if you did an inspection of the vehicle you can tell there was damage. The salesman had the nerve to say that his car tires were in good shape. If you look closely you can see the metal peeling out of the tires. If you do your customer inspection you will find that these cars have been in accidents. Do yourself a favor and save your gas and time.

Having read several negative things about this dealer I went in with my eyes wide open, expecting a worse than average experience. Instead, I was surprised by how accommodating and helpful they were. No, you won't get manicured cubicles or a latte, but the prices are terrific and my salesperson seemed genuinely interested in making sure I was satisfied and was very helpful throughout the buying, financing, and follow up process. The car I selected needed some work . Not only were they willing to do what was needed within the advertised price, but they even ended up doing a thing or two that was not on the "We Owe" list. All that said, this is a used car dealer. Be sure to go in knowing what you want and ready to communicate it. Come prepared. Do some research ahead of time. Require the vehicle you select to be looked over by your own mechanic. AAL will run an Autocheck and a Carfax report for you. I ran my own just to be doubly sure but it was not necessary; they matched up exactly. Like 4reel said, "Buyer Be Smart". If you are, you can get a very good deal here.

I read the reviews before checking out this dealership & most all were negative. Still the prices were awesome & if you do your homework, you just might get a good car at great price. They aren't the most professional dealership & the marketing practices are highly questionable, but they worked hard to get me financed. The biggest problem I encountered was that it took them almost 2 months to get the paperwork submitted so I could get my tag, but after throwing a tantrum, it was taken care of the next day. And I'm still waiting on the keyless remote that was on the "we owe", but i'm sure it'll be 2012 before that happens..

Stopped in there today to inquire about a car on their web site and they informed me it was sold. As I left I said perhaps you should update your web site and left. As I was getting in my car one of the "gentlemen" walked out and asked if I wanted to manage their web site. I said no and was then greeted with a string of profanity and other rude comments as I got in my car and drove off. These guys sure know how to win over a customer !

The owners of Atlanta Auto Lease are PROFESSIONAL THEIVES, RIPOFF ARTISTS, and COMMON-CRIMINALS!

Steer clear of these hood-rats. They sold me a car that had been previously wrecked while LYING about having any knowledge of the vehicle's history.

Do not beleive any positive reports posted about them as they too are false!!! A former sales rep told me the owners and their friends fabricate favorable rebuttals to posted criticisms.

I am not the only person they have ripped off. They have a long history of doing so as evidenced by exerpts from a WHISTLEBLOWER REPORT BY CBS ATLANTA NEWS.

I purchase a car on Oct. 23 and still have not gotten my tittle. My bank and I have contacted the company severals, and I do mean several times over the past month and continue to be lied to. My last conversation that that the title will be mailed out this week. Last week, my title was in the office and would be overnighted the next day. There is never a manager or an owner to make a complaint to. Even my salesman, Oliver, told me I woudl need to speak with him in order to get the truth and obviously that was a lie too. I hate to speak badly on anyone but by from American owned dealerships; at least they believe in maintaining a good reputation.

Atlanta Auto Lease is a small dealer that moves volume and what you see is what you get. What you won't get is the cushy dealership experience. What you can expect is straightforward, no nonsense car buying experience. The price of the car was exactly what was advertised and was the best price in a 500 mile radius. After weeks of searching, I bought the vehicle that day and took it home that evening and I couldnt love it more!
