Santa Monica Movers did a excellent job. The packing and moving went flawlessly with no breakage or missing items and they worked quickly, efficiently, and were clear on asking any questions if anything was in doubt. All packed boxes were also well labeled and organized, making unpacking as painless as could be. We would definitely do so again.

I am no stranger to moving around so I have seen the best and the worst movers and packers so when I called Santa Monica Movers I did not exactly have very high expectations. Lets just put it this way after all the problems that I have had with some of the companies I see movers and packers as a necessary evil. I do my own packaging because that way at least I can be sure that I have done my best to protect my things. I was expecting some damage when my things were delivered to Baton Rouge but to my utter surprise nothing was broken and this is the first time that my stuff was actually delivered on time. So I am certainly very impressed with this company. If you want your things to get to your destination in time and safe you should definitely consider them. I paid around 200-250 dollars lets than the competitors bid.

Last month I moved from IL to CA but I hadnt found a house here so I had to use both the storage and moving facilities. When I called Santa Monica Movers they answered all my questions and more. I did my own packaging but they were very careful with my things. And they even gave me the first month of storage absolutely free. Even though my stuff had endured two moves from my house to the storage and from there to my new apartment it was surprising that everything was intact without a hint of damage. They delivered the things on the scheduled day on time. Everybody was very friendly and highly professional all along. Best Price Moving and Storage is one of the best moving companies that I have dealt with.

This moving company was very thorough and friendly about our move and all of our needs. They moved our small non-profit organization from one office to another and were very helpful in setup, preparation, and moving. They arrived a few minutes early, were very efficient and friendly, and made everything very easy and stress-free! Highly recommended!?

This company is great! I used Santa Monica Movers moving and storage about a month ago for my move and the service went far beyond what I imagined. I have moved before and the company I used was comparable to, welllets just say it was pretty bad. So this time I knew I had to go with someone else and all my instincts led me to go with Santa Monica Movers. All I have to say is Im glad that I did! They were professional from the first phone call we had, up until the drop off of all my things at my new house. My sons, TV stand was the only thing that was slightly damaged, it lost one of the plastic feet. But he just took the other 3 off and it still works fine. Honestly I wouldnt have cared if the thing cracked in half; it was a $50 TV shelf/stand from Best buy. I didnt even bother filling a complaint for it because everything else arrived in the same condition it left in so I was left completely satisfied! If your considering making a long distance move, you should really consider using this company

Your crew wrapped our furniture and treated them like if it was their own. They place every item were we wanted, and after they left we sat down and said It didnt feel like we moved Unbelievable experience and nothing was out of place. Thank you so much. We will recommend you to everyone we know.

Kevin and Steve had not only the best attitude, but were very professional, friendly, and took pride in the job they performed. They took extra care in packaging and covering my mother's furniture and antique tables. They also had extreme patience at the end when my mother changed her mind on where she wanted the items placed. Keeping a positive attitude and good spirit cannot always be easy in a job of that nature and these two gentlemen's spirit and attitude did not change throughout the entire job. It made it so much easier for everyone.

Santa Monica Movers handled my move a week ago. They did a very good job. Goti gave us an on-site estimate, and he was a pleasure to work with. Helpful and very courteous. He gave us a flat rate that included everything. There were no hidden charges or fees. A four man crew packed us up one day, and moved us the next day. They were on time both days, and worked diligently. Two of the guys, Juan and Joel, were very experienced and professional. Nothing broke and the move went smoothly. I would certainly use them again. Make sure to ask for Raymand.

My crew did such a good job! They called to let me know when they would arrive. They quickly emptied my house and loaded the truck - wrapping any furniture that might get damaged. They even offered to take apart my bed and brought wardrobe boxes for my clothes. Once we were at my new place they brought everything in and placed it wherever I asked them to. They were hard working and courteous. I recommend them to anyone who is moving. They really made what is normally an awful day into a breeze.

I am a worrier (to say the least,) so it was natural for me to be very anxious regarding my move. From start to finish Santa Monica Movers made my move worry-free. The staff was friendly, professional, and trustworthy. I felt extremely comfortable from the moment they walked through the door. They were also accomodating and willing to accept each request.

I just wanted to take a moment to recognize the efforts of two of your employees. We used your services (for the second time) to move my family from a third floor apartment to our new home 6 miles away. Two of your employees, Gary and Chris, were the lucky guys that got to carry our furniture down three flights of stairs. They did so with great care and speed. A couple pieces were quite heavy, but your men took it in stride and got the job done. They loaded our three bedroom apartment into the truck and then into our new home in less than 3 1/2 hours. They treated our furniture as if it were their own and did not damage anything. They should be commended for their work ethic. It is nice to know that there are still companies out there that care about customers and live up to their advertisements.

Pros: They carry our furniture down three flights of stairs.
