This is in regards to gloria c. comment that she said she was dissatisfied. I was the tech that went to her house and what she said wasnt all that happened. I ran her dishwasher for 45 minutes and it did not leak anywhere when I was there. The motor bearings on her pump assy were so noisy that you had to plug your ears and you could still hear it. The pump assy itself would cost 170 dollars and she said she didnt want to put that much money into it. I didnt go much farther with the unit on the account she didnt want to fix the motor which wasnt going to last much longer. I tried to save her money by cleaning the door seal because it was covered with calcium buildup. (beavers water is 22gpg hardness) which is horrible for a dishwasher. So in the end I couldnt get the unit to leak and therefore its hard to say what exactly was causing the leak. As far as the unit leaking underneath water travels down and under the dishwasher not matter where the leak originates. I am sry the customer wasnt happy but in the end I thought it was silly to put money in it to stop the leak when she needed a new motorpump assy. anyways. We also charge for the time that it takes us to figure out the problem which isnt always a quick thing to do Hence the 24 dollar charge was for the time to look at it. I dont know what else i can say here other than Im sry the lady wasnt happy with our company and I hope she finds a good dishwasher to last her a long time.

I had a very unfortunate experience with Davidson's repair service ending in I WILL NEVER CALL THEM AGAIN! THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER HAD IN BEAVER COUNTY! I called for service on a dishwasher that was leaking and making a different noise, but operating properly. I was told my dishwasher needed a new door seal and the "noise" I heard was a pump that was going bad....this was all determined by taking off the front panel. In total over $300 in repairs. He said he would have to order the parts and come back. I said no to the pump as I decided to just let it go until the machine quit since a $500 7 yr old machine doesn't warrant $300 in repairs. However, I agreed to the seal as I needed the leak fixed. He said...well let me try something and he took the seal off and washed it and put it back on. He then said it wasn't leaking but I should check it when I ran it just in case it wasn't seated properly. He charged me $59.99 for a service call and $24 additional for I don't know what. When he left, I slid a newspaper under the machine (a built-in) to watch for a leak and turned the machine on. When it finished, it hadn't leaked around the door but leaked from underneath and now the steam poured out the top and left water dripping from my counter top! I immediately called the company. I requested that a different repairman be sent for the return visit to look at the machine. The woman was very defensive and told me how good the guy was. and how they always got compliments on him! I said he didn't find the problem and I wanted someone else for a "second" opinion. She said she'd see and someone would call me the next morning. The next morning Bill called me and instead of an apology for the problem, I had the most unpleasant conversation I think I have ever had with a service person. He even asked if I thought he had ripped me off....to which I answered YES! This shouting match ended up with me telling him that he definitely lost me as a customer! And, do I intend to tell everyone that I come in contact with to avoid doing business with this company? YES. It's one thing to have a problem; but to be treated so rudely on top of it is a total insult! I suggest that if you want an honest, friendly service company that will come into your home and fix your problem, charge you a fair price, and return without question if the problem isn't fixed....then..........YOU DO NOT WANT TO CALL THIS COMPANY!!!!!!! If I could rate them with below zero, I would! (What's worse....I was a return customer and he realized it!)

A man from Davidson Appliance Center fixed my Kitchen-Aid trash compactor. He had to order a part for it, then he returned to install the part. It works very well now. The price was reasonable.
