Did not stay but had dinner. It was a first class experience all the way. From the wine to the main course....and the desert.

What a beautiful place! I love staying here when I'm in downtown San Diego. Rooms are huge and clean. My room had a balcony overlooking downtown. Place was quiet and located close to the Gaslamp Quarter.

Friday night Seafoof Soiree is just to die for.
Fish, shrimp, prime rib, lamb, crab, lobster and the list goes on.

Very pleasent and very romantic atmosphere. Service was excellent and what you would expect in fine dinng resturant.
Best deal for your dollar's worth $49.00 per person but well worth the price.
All buffet style tables just filled with food in a very nice layout and just breath taking you have to see it for yourself.

Oh don't forget desert the banana and fruit filled crepes are out of this world

We were happy with our stay here. Checking in, we explained we would like a large room; and we were upgraded. The room was good sized, on a higher floor, clean, and quiet. Furnishings were tasteful and comfortable. The bathroom also was good sized.
Housekeeping responded quickly to our requests. Overall, we were treated well during our stay.

This is a beatiful hotel in a convenient location in the heart of downtown San Deigo. Directly across the street from Horton Plaza where there is shopping and about a 1-1/2 - 2 mile walk from the baseball stadium. The service in the hotel and restaurants was exceptional. We were slightly disappointed that our main course dinner selection at the very upscale resturant was not more enjoyable. Dessert was fabulous however.

PROS: Exceptional Service, convenient location
CONS: Upscale restaurant food could be better
