The "Buyer Beware" review was likely posted by Blake Manson, a former managing partner of the company who was removed prior to the post. The several content and grammar errors in the post are moot. Since this management shift, Green City Solar LLC has expanded into eleven cities, mitigating project risk in a unstable subsidy market.

Green City Solar LLC is managed by two Eagle Scouts from the oil and gas industry set on bringing the construction work practices of the established energy sector into the emerging photovoltaic market. Founded in 2008, GCS specializes in installation training, site supervision, material selection, and system design. Our work crews are hired by the largest project developers in and around Texas.

I was very pleased with this company when they were in different ownership. It seems now that they cannot survive except for a few men and one sweet women answering the phones. They do not follow up on anything, and never pay their bills. I am a wholesale material supplier of solar equipment in Austin, and they are now so unprofessional about everything. Buyers beware! I have heard of clients loosing their deposits, because they don't have a big enough crew to do a complete solar install.
