Lonestar Moving LLC

My family and I moved from Rockville Centre to Huntington Village last week with Lonestar Long Island Moving Company. It is weren't for this company I don't know what we would have done.
Unfortunately, we had to relcoate due to Hurricane Sandy. I read all the online reviews about this moving company as was impressed with them automatically.

Paul our foreman and his team of 3 other movers were polite, upbeat, organized and extremely professional. They wrapped all our furniture to protect against damages (at no extra charge) and took such great care of all our belongings.

When we called initially for a moving quote I spoke with Renee Cuocco. She was pleasant, well educated, friendly and super professional as well.

The lines of communication were always open and remained consistent. This professionalism made our moving day simple and easy.

I will not hesitate to contact this moving company to move us again and will gladly refer their services.

Not the cheapest of moving companies, but I feel well worth the money. Do not hesitate to contact them, you will be happy you did.

Lonestar Moving delviered an excellent level of service - the team of 3 were on time (early!), friendly and extreamly fast with the move. Large iteams were packed and lifted very well. Very much a professional family run business who put the customer first - I'd recommend them again and again! In comparison to others Renee was very friendly, honest and efficient with the whole process (with no hidden costs what so ever)

I would gladly recommend this company to anyone planning a move. From the quote to scheduling to the actual move, everything went easily and smoothly. They arrived on time. They quickly and efficiently wrapped and handled my furniture with care. Both Paul and Elan were friendly and extremely cooperative. I ended up paying exactly what I was quoted and the time required was exactly what I figured it would be. They really made what could have been an extremely stressful day and relatively pleasant experience.

These guys rocked! I picked them because of their solid reputation and insurance, even though they are on the pricier end of the scale. They are well worth it. After watching these guys work I would never recommend hiring a cheap mover as you get what you pay for. I moved a 1 BR w/ alcove that was jam-packed with stuff into a 2.5 BR, both on the 3rd floor, about 5 blocks apart. I really wanted to be completely packed, and I was nowhere near that. They rocked it with their wardrobe boxes, and extra boxes on hand. They arrived early and got to work immediately! 3 guys moved my chaos (including a fridge) in about 5 hours. They worked like horses and carried about the weight of a horse on their backs, well, except the fridge. That they all helped with. :) I am definitely hiring Lonestar Moving next time I have to move. Last week we moved with Lonestar Brooklyn Movers as was very pleased with their services. This Brooklyn Moving Company was not our first choice of movers as we hired another company which cancelled on us the day before. I won??t even get into that. So, I called Lonestar and spoke with Renee in the office, she was so helpful and nice. We went over all the details everywhere from our exact inventory, etc. There were no hidden moving costs. She explained in full detail our hourly rate and how it worked. When our movers arrived, our foreman Jim sat down with us for approx 10 minutes and went over our rate and their services worked. This communication process really put our minds at ease. Once we signed our moving day began. It went smoothly, professionally and all our movers were very pleasant and careful. I was so happy we used these Brooklyn Movers. After reviewing their website, I knew they would bring to the table exactly what they offer. Not only was this Moving Company extremely honest and professional, they take pride in their people and their clients. Our foreman was in constant contact with Renee in the office so we were all on the same page. Even when we did not mention all the items, they did not get angry, they worked with us like a team. I would strongly suggest using these Brooklyn Movers as they are the best moving company New York has to offer. Thanks again?..

Lone star moving was great! Not only did I receive a quote from them very quickly when I was looking for movers, but also the move went so smoothly and easily that I will definitely be using Lone Star again for the next time I move! They were incredibly nice and very professional. They were also very quick in the move and easy to deal with, and the quote they gave me for the move I did was by far the cheapest quote I received when looking for a moving company.

Paul and the team arrived promptly, wrapped the furniture and moved everything in an extremely efficient manner. I recently moved from Briarwood to Forest Hills and used Lonestar Queens Moving Company for my move. They all were simply the best group of movers I have ever used and I have moved a lot in the past few years. Let alone their rates were affordable for the high quality services they perform. I was impressed with all of their services their company had to offer. On top of moving me, they set up all my electronics and hung my mirrors and expensive paintings?.This Queens Moving Company rocks. Great company, I used them twice. Our family moved twice in two years using Lonestar Moving both times. The first time we were covered under a corporate move and the second we paid for personally. Therefore, I think we have an excellent perspective of this vendor under two common scenarios. I have evaluated the company on several key criteria: ESTIMATION PROCESS- In our most recent move, which we paid for ourselves, we had several professional national vendors come out to give us estimates. Lonestar Moving had moved us once before and their estimate was neither the cheapest nor the most expensive. The individual that provided the estimate was very professional and efficient PROFESSIONALISM OF MOVERS- The first time we moved, the corporate vendor of choice was Lonestar Moving. Their crew packed us and loaded our belongings in their trucks. The crew was fast but less professional than we would have hoped. Specifically, they rode some of our biking equipment though our hallways but most importantly they did not provide us with the high-value inventory sheet. Fortunately, there was no damage by the moving company to our home during the move-out process. In contrast, however, we found this company to be very professional, efficient and courteous. Though they did not pack us, they did an excellent job of loading our belongings. They were on time, efficient, and very professional in ensuring that our home was not damaged in the move-out process. They arrived within their delivery window, protected all major walkways with plastic and cardboard where appropriate, deposited furniture and boxes in rooms at my direction, and assembled all furniture to our satisfaction. FINAL BILL- The first move was company-paid, so the actual costs were not disclosed to me. However, the second move which we paid for personally was pretty much on point to what Renee Cuocco, the President of Lonestar Moving had quoted us originally. Overall, we were incredibly satisfied with their moving services. Though I have no immediate plans to move, I would certainly use Lonestar??s Moving Services again

Renee, My wife and I would like to extend our thanks and gratitude to everyone at Lone Star Moving. I have heard may horror stories about moving companies that lose items, break items, or end up costing twice what they estimated.

Your moving company exceeded all expectations. George was extremely patient and helpful with me as I rescheduled my appointment to move several times. On July 14th , my wife and I moved the contents of our apartment in Lindenhurst to our first home, also in Lindenhurst.

We were originally scheduled to move the week before, but because of the delay in our closing date it was necessary to reschedule. George, Johnny and Andrew were our movers. I can't say enough about these guys! They were friendly and took excellent care with our furniture.

When we arrived at the new house it was quite a mess and your men cleaned and organized everything for us. They never complained about the mess or the fact that I have grand staircase to my front door with 22 steps! When they were done, the estimate that you provided me with was accurate, as she promised, there were no hidden charges!

Thank you and your entire staff your a stress free and positive moving experience. My wife and I look forward to having Lonestar Moving handle my mothers move from Queens to Long Island.

During my August 4, 2011 move, I used Lone Star moving company as my movers. This company was booked by my boyfriend as I was out of time in the week prior to my move. During the move, my Nintendo Wii was "lost". I figured this would not be a huge drama-- I paid for insurance, file a claim, police report if need be, and then done. Due to the fact that it was my boyfriend's name on the order form, and not mine, initially the company president, Renee Cuocco, would not speak to me, only my boyfriend. After she offered to "return the $35 insurance fee" as it was "more than fair", I called Ms. Cuocco myself in an attempt to understand what the issue was. I called the business number left a message and then called the cell phone number listed on the "write a review for us" email that she had sent us. On this phone call, Ms. Cuocco called me a c*nt and a b*tch. Additionally, she told me to shut the f*ck up three times". She also referred to myself and my boyfriend as "dirty Bronx con-artists". Let me be clear here for what the insurance claim would have been--under $200 for the (Nintendo Wii that was "lost" and the game inside it) this woman is going to curse me out, insult me and say I'm making this up?! REALLY??? Here's the thing, our combined income is well over $150k-- (I'm a teacher and he is a bond trader) it's not about the money, it's about doing what is right. Save yourself the hassle, hire a company that is professional for your move.

We called a bunch of moving companies in the Queens area and spoke to a bunch of different people. Once we spoke with your customer service staff and your top moving consultant we are sold. Defintely did not feel like we were dealing with just any moving company.

Lonestar Moving was extremely organized, classy and professional. We moved from Long Island to Queens and found this moving company on this review site.

We were so impressed with their professionalism and their customer service. Very classy company.

They wrapped everything, barely took a lunch break, worked in the rain and never complained. Assembled all furniture even hung shelving units and a medicine cabinet.

Hands down this is the best New York Moving Company out there. I am proud to spread the word.

Where do I start about Lonestar?? THEY WERE THE BEST from beginning to end! I called up just 2 weeks before my move (which I thought was callin it close) & Renee assured me that all would be fine & stuck by me even though I called her every other day to make changes LOL!!! The guys were there right on time, they were extremely friendly & listened to everything I had to say, it was very comforting. They took the time to carefully wrap any furniture, pictures, antiques & mirrors that needed special care - it was great! They didn't stop moving for a second!! Paul was amazing at fitting all of our things into a 10x15 storage spot when we really should have had a 15x15 spot - we are moving into our house in September & will DEFINITELY use them again - I can't say enough good things & will recommend them to everyone I know when they move! Like I said worth every penny & they gave me the best deal over all the other moving companies out there!!!

I am so happy I chose Lonestar Long Island Moving Company to move me. I have heard horror stories of furniture being broken, movers not showing up or on time for that matter. But these guys were so professional and friendly. A very family oriented company and really makes anyone's moving day nicer and stress free.
These Long Island movers even hung my pictures and shelves for me, being I am a single woman and cannot lift a hammer at all.

The reputation of Lonestar Moving LLC on Long Island should say it all....this company is amazing!! Any concerns I had about my move were quickly put to rest once I signed my contract. They are effecient, unbelievably professional and an absolute pleasure to work with...kudos to George, Paul & Justin!! They offer the most reasonable rates and completely outdid themselves up untill the point that I was unpacked and they hung my shelves and put my closet organizers in. Lonestar Moving rocked the house! Moving from Long Island to New York City was scary and stressful, but these guys were great and made a stressful day into a calming and getting it done kinda day! I had a lot of stuff! I had 3 good looking all american men moving me! Believe me I was a happy camper. Moving to New York City in a 5 th floor walk up (rent a lot cheaper) these guys did their job with smiles on their faces the entire time. Always had constant communication with their corporate office. As soon as I googled Long Island Movers and found their website I was totally using them. My sister had lived in Bushwick ever since she graduated from Skidmore upstate and always wanted to live in Williamsburg. Last summer she got the chance when her lease was up and she found a place with her boyfriend just off metropolitan near south 4. She asked me to go out there from Long Island and help her move. I went a week before to look at her new apartment and the 5 story walk up she told me she was moving into, turned out to be 6 stories.

75 Stairs total I counted going up, then had to break it to her that there??s no way were going to be able to move all her stuff in one day even the three of us her boyfriend included. There was just way to many belongings. It sounded like a quick easy job at fish Bushwick to Williamsburg isn??t far at all but she lived on a side street, parking was crucial then one person would have to watch the truck while the other two took everything up and that just didn??t seem like the most efficient thing to do.

I offered to pay for a moving company to do the job it would save us a lot of hassle and she could relax about getting everything into her new place. So I email a list of everything she had to move sent some pictures of her old place and new apartment and got a really good quote. They were able to send a truck that week with 3 guys and got it done in a few hours. That work would have taken us at least a day with just one pickup truck and most likely two days.
There??s a reason moving companies exist and great ones like LoneStar Moving, they make your life easier, I can understand why people dread moving around the city, seriously how many people live in buildings with commercial elevators to get furniture up to your not place? Not that many especially outside Manhattan. I told my sister I hope she??s happy with her place and doesn??t plan on moving for a long time but if she does I know I??m calling up the guys from LoneStar. Moving out and down stairs is always easier than going up at least. Great company and I would definitely recommend them to anyone moving around the tristate.

I can only apologize to Lonestar for not writing this review sooner! I used Lonestar to move into my new apartment on Sept 28, 2010. Paul and his assistant showed up on time and with such friendly demeanors:-) They were beyond professional and really went above and beyond to help me in any way that they could!! As as single woman moving can be a daunting and overwhelming task but they made it as easy as possible for me and I can not thank them enough for all their wonderful, hard work! The staircase in my new apartment was not the easiest to navigate or get up with my furniture but they never complained once! I would HIGHLY recommend Lonestar Moving to anyone I know that has moving needs. If I ever move again, they will, without a doubt be the first ones I call! If you want fair prices with outstanding customer service- Don't look anywhere else!:-)
