I am very satisfied with my Lasik eye surgery. I had it on July 18, 2010 and I am very happy. The people who work in this office were wonderful. The price of my surgery was a lot less than any other place.

I am very happy that I chose the Lasik Vision Institute and would recommend it to everyone!

I can't believe there hasn't been one single review for the institute. I have been contemplating having the procedure done on my eyes for the past four years.

Then when I received an email from the Lasik Vision Institute a couple of days after Christmas, I started thinking, I had to get it done. The funny thing was, when I responded to the email stating I was interested, an online representative gave me a call the following day and set up an initial appointment for January 7, 2010. So, on the 7th of January, I went and proceeded to go to the address the guy gave me. I couldn't find the place and felt I was given the wrong information much to my disappointment.

But instead of going home, I called another number that gave me the address to the office's location in El Cajon. The secretary said it was okay for me to come in even though I didn't have an appointment for that location. She sounded very friendly, and I couldn't resist the invitation.

When I got to the place, I was greeted very pleasantly and with a great smile. I felt very comfortable which is how I base most of my doctor's office visits on. The visit took about 2 hours, but I didn't feel bothered or uncomfortable at all. By the end of the initial consultation, I had my surgery set 7 days later.

On the day off surgery, I was very anxious and felt fearful of the unknown procedure. The eye doctor who examined my eyes the prior week was there along w/ two nurses, and then I met the surgeon just five minutes prior to the actual surgery. He examined my eyes and placed the anesthetic drops that will numb them for the procedure. He was very personable and I immediately trusted him for the process.

I was feeling okay until they guided me to the surgery room and asked me to lie down on the reclining chair. My heart started pounding, and the nurse must've realized my anxiety for she comforted me and assured me w/ words that she said will guide me during the very short process.

Much to my surprise, the procedure was really quick and painless. It was just amazing! Doc asked me to come in the office first thing the next day to reexamine both my eyes. I came in w/ blurred vision and felt my right eye lid was swollen.
After examining my eye, the doctor told me both my eyeballs were swollen and that this happens to only 5% of the patients. This got me worried, but he adviced me it'll be alright and all I had to do was come back in the very next day.
Waking up the next day was a lot better than the previous day for I was able to see clearer. The doctor told me my eyes looked better and that I was on my way to full recovery.

A week later, my eyes were a lot better and I am seeing 20/20; the first time in over 22 years. Imagine that. I've had to wear my glasses since I was 18 years old. My next appointment is on my 40th birthday, and I have to say that I am very satisfied with my entire experience with this office.

Judith was absolutely great and very funny. I highly recommend the Lasik Vision Institute in El Cajon to anyone thinking of lasik surgery.

You will not be disappointed.
