.

For those of you who wish to correct your toenail fungus with laser surgery.
I had been researching this technics and decided to give it a try. I call the office of
Dr. Mark Wolpa, DPM, and made an appointment for 3/22.2011.
He is located in Berkeley off Milvia street. I was told over the phone the cost would be between $550 dollars to $900 dollars. I arrived full of hope for this procedure. I had 3 toenails that had partial fungus in them. I was advised by Mark Wolpa that I should have all of them lasered as more toewnails may become infected. I agreed to his advice.
Also, at the advice of the doctor I purchased new shoes, and used the Formulas 3 nail polish (antifungal solution) and a separate antifungal cream called terbinafine Hydrochloride daily until I ran out of these products.
I have noticed absolutely no change except that the toenails have gotten much worse and spread to other toes.
I called the doctor and saw him on the fourth month as to show no change in condition except that the toes were worsening and other toenails were now infected. He said I needed more time.
5 and a half months have now gone by with the nails becoming much more infected then they were originally and I am out $1,000 dollars. A frustrated patient!
