What a joke! Overpriced. Underwhelmed. A couple of us tried their Kansas City Strip special. To our amazement, they seasoned a steak with cinnamon! Yuck! Ruined what otherwise was a terrific looking piece of meat.
On their wine list they have Sean Minor 4 Bears Cab and Pinot for $11 a glass! Earl's Restaurant has this same wine for $7!!
The desert menu again looks great. But when they brought out two little pieces of devil's food cake covered in chocolate for $9!! What a complete let-down. And the cake was dry and not good...
And then to top it off! They miscalculated the check after we paid and some young inexperienced manager comes to the table and in front of the entire table 'beats around the bush' about if we weren't satisfied with the service he wants to apologize. And makes the table feel uncomfortable about underpaying the tip. Instead of coming right out and saying their was a mix up on the check.
Food average....service ok....management poor.... prices are a joke!

Tag is a hip, urban, swanky restaurant downtown with scrumptious food and a bustling atmosphere. Great place to meet friends, take a date, and people watch. It can get pretty noisy as the evening wears on and the tables are always packed. Pricey.

great food and drinks. Good service. Located on beautiful block of Larimer St. Only complaint was that the tables were so close together, you could hear other people's conversations.

I met some friends here for drinks and apps late in the day. The bartender had just come up with a new drink for a fundraiser, and he made it for my friend. Everything has a great, funky spin on it. My fav was the wok-fried edamame appetizer. If I could have, I would have licked the bowl, it was that good. Fairly pricy, but fun for a night out downtown.

What a fun place! Delicious food, the atmosphere is great and so is the staff. If you are looking for a fun night on the town this is the place to go. Not cheap and not for kids. Fun drinks too!

There is really nothing about this restaurant I do not like. I have sampled almost everything on their constantly changing menu, from the bone marrow (a gluttonous masterpiece), to the whimsical french onion soup dumplings, on to the scallop with braised pork on a celery root puree, truly nothing here has disappointed me yet.

I tend to sit at the bar, and this place hands down is one of the leaders of the mixology movement that has recently taken hold of Denver. Mike seems to always be the one behind the bar, and considering this place is busy every day it's open coupled with the fact the drinks are made from scracth with multiple ingredients, sometimes when you order a cocktail, you will be in for a bit of a wait. Trust me, once you take a sip, it will be well worth it.

The atmosphere is cozy and bustling. The service is good. No complaints, no rave reviews. Just solid service. The menu is an impeccable combination of global cuisine, meaning there is something for everyone on this menu. From sushi to venison filets, they really cover the world, however, unlike most restaurants that try to bite of more than they can do well, these guys have managed to do it right...and by right, I mean everything superbly.

Pros: Drinks, mixology, food, atmosphere, service

Cons: Larimer Square on weekends
