Most probably the world's worst card as far as handling any dispute. Either I've been placed on hold for more than 30 minutes and/or told there are no manager/supervisors available, and one will call me back. This never happens.

I hate this credit card. The customer service people will not help you. I have called them to help me lower my interest rate and they say they can't. I was late by 24 hours and they charged me a late fee and then raised my interest to 30%. I hate them but unfortunately cannot get another card to wipe this one out Keep away from them

The worse credit card I have ever had the displeasure of having, and the worse bank I have ever dealt with. I closed my savings acct & reopenened another at my personal bank & forgot to update the new acct # on barclays site. 3 payments that I had scheduled a week apart all were rejected. I called Barclays to explain the problem and to have the fees waived. The reps offered no assistance,said their policy was that fees could not be waived. Needless to say, my interest rate skyrocketed to 30% for future purchases. I closed that account to keep the rate I had and to pay it off. Even when calling the US call center, the reps have no authority to help. I guess one has to be a millionaire in order to receive any services from this bank.

Barclay Bank is the world??s worst bank for customer service. I??m glad Barclays can they afford to outsource their bank / customer service needs to another other country, because I feel like I??m dealing with the Pilipino cousins of ??Peggy?. The only phrases the operators / people know is
"Please Hold", (2) "I'm Sorry (when they really are not)", (3) "Let me transfer you", and every other word is also ??Yes Sir, sorry sir?. WHAT A MESS! I have been attempting to get a credit on my US Airways World Elite MasterCard thru Barclays Bank. This bank is SO unprofessional and trying to contact any other person here in the USA thru the main office in Delaware to resolve the issue is just as frustrating as the people in the Philippians. We stayed at this hotel called ??Hotel Szelcow? in Lesko, Poland in September of 2010, when we checked in they charge my MST for the two nights. After these two nights we checked out, they had no hotel staff working except a bartender / waiter serving breakfast, he billed us again for the same two nights we already paid for two days ago. When I got my credit card statement I saw the two charges and called the Hotel in Poland to correct the double billing, which they acknowledged as a double bill. The hotel wanted my bank account here in the USA to transfer the money. I told them ??NO? put the credit on my MasterCard. They told me they could not do that. So after a month dealing with these people in Poland I disputed the charges with Barclay bank. Now they tell me even after the owner/manager at the Hotel Szelcow? in Lesko, Poland admits to the error, the two charges are valid. I will be cancelling this credit card from Barclays.

had to give rating but I say...no stars..we have a spirit juniper bank credit card. I neglected to pay the card on time (7 days late) one month and our rate when up to 30.24%. You can not talk to an American about any interest problems, you are routed to the Philliphines and are forced to talk to a non decision making puppet. I fly Spirit and everytime I'm on the plane and they start passing out applications for this card, I tell anyone who will listen...DON'T DO IT!!! THEY ARE SCUMMY THIEVES!!!

i had never even heard of this "juniper bank" until i was called over 2 years ago. since then i have been harassed at least twice a week by their computer asking for tab berk. i dont even know the guy! when i finally got to talk to a representative over 1 and a half years after they started calling me i was hung up on! wtf?! THIS IS THE WORST BANK EVER!!!

This is the absolute worst example of anything remotely resembling a Bank. No costumer service.. None at all. Never once has an issue been resolved at Any level, or have once anyone there cared... I was traveling outside the country, making payments on the card to ensure I stayed under my credit limit- and then the card starts getting refused--I check my account on line and it shows a balance of less than $100-but they have put a 7-10 hold on my payment because the bank I used could recall the money. I have always paid the bill on time (over 3 years) and have never had a "hold" put on a payment! Superivsor could not help and I could barely comprehend her--poor English language skills. I asked for the President's name and address to send a letter and she refused, stating she was not allowed to give out that information. After I hung up I found it on line in less than 30 seconds. If they treat you this way in a bad economy, where everyone is competing for business, how bad is it going to continue to get? (This was a Frontier Airline linked card).

It is not the first time you or me are taken by a financial institution like Barclays Bank Delaware which is a former fist Bank and Juniper. It itself tells you why an institution changes their name rapidly because of the law suits or bankrupcy or scroupeluos business deals. When I applied so called, "Gulf Master card" I was exited that I am getting the rebate from them. Then, it truly showed up it's face that it is a bark ly bank delaware. Sudden increase finance charge, late fee, card protection fee are just the beginning of my problem with this card. After trying to be honest and fair to the credit card, not only the reps promissing to resolve the issue but on the top of it when you ask for the superviser, they say that the supervisor is not available and asks you to give your phone number and a supervisor will call you back within 24-48 hours. to your surprise not only the supervisor would not call you but the finance charges continue to be charged. and if one day you say that you will complain to bb, you end up here showing how good a bb in delaware works. Is any body care or can stop this nonsence. $152 is my baseless and so called legitimate charges that I have to pay so far. I have closed my account after receiving a letter from them that there was an inadvertent system error of increased finance charge. And even that only one month of adjustment to the finance charge was adjusted and they don't understand the basic finance. I know several of their bank were closed in New York while back. If I only knew that Gulf master card is from them I would never would deal with them. It is the waste of time and my pride.

I went online to pay my monthly bill and noticed my APR had increased for 8.99% to 14.99%. When I called and questioned it, I was informed due to the economic situation the bank has decided to increase rates. Let me state this, account has NEVR been over limit, NEVER had a late payment, in fact I make double payments almost every month. This, I believe is exactly what is being discussed in D.C. and I will be taking it to my Congressman. What does the Bank think that they are having more of an economic hardship then their customers? I will pay this card off as fast and close the account and think every card holder should do the same. It is time for us to stand up for what is right and let Banks know we have had it!

I recently was allowed to go over my credit limit by $4.50. I was accessed a $39 over limit charge. I called and it was waived but the following month, again my account was allowed to go over its limit again. Again I was charged a over limit fee. I have never been late with my account and have always paid more than the minimum payment. In lieu of the fact that the Barclay's system allowed this over limit to occur and then turn around and penalize me for it is criminal, I requested my account to be closed immediately. Legal well maybe so but morally corrupt. I could understand if I was always late or never made my payments but this is not the case. I have been a good paying customer only to be treated in this manner. I closed my account simply because of the greed and now my APR has been increased from 8.99% to 22.9% and my online access has been suspended all because Barclay's (Juniper) allowed this to happen. What is wrong with this picture people. You tell me. Crooks, the whole lot of them.
