I have never felt so well taken care of in a dealership before. This dealership and the sales people went well out of their way just make me feel comfortable. They went above and beyond to give me the best deal. I will definately return for any future services and vehicle purchases.

I bought an SUV from Community Pontiac GMC a month ago. From the second day I owned it, I have had too many problems to count. And now today, it won't start. I know the battery works because all the electrical will turn on, but it still will not start. This was the final straw for me.

I bought it from Community Pontiac GMC's Internet Manager, Josh, because all of their sales staff was "too busy." This should have tipped me off from the start. A qualified sales agent should be selling cars... not someone from their website staff.

When I called Community Pontiac GMC at 8:30 this morning to report the latest problem, I had to explain the situation to FOUR different people before eventually being told that someone will call me back. No one called me back in a timely manner.

Again, I call Community Pontiac GMC (at 10:00 a.m.). Of course I don't get the same person, so I have to explain the situation and all of my car problems all over again. They tell me that I need to bring the car out for them to work on it. Well, I would do that, except my car doesn't start!

The person from Community Pontiac GMC then puts me on hold, and I have to speak to another person and tell them the entire story all over again. This person tells me that I then need to pay for a tow truck to deliver the vehicle. First, I live in the middle of downtown Chicago, so towing out to Tinley Park will be very expensive. I tell them that I feel that I should not have to pay for a tow truck due to them selling me a faulty vehicle. Again, I am put on hold and have to speak to another person... this time I am on hold for 15 minutes, so I hang up.

I call Community Pontiac GMC a third time. After being put on hold for 15 minutes, I get a different person. I yet again explain the situation all over again. This person proceeds to tell me that it is President's Day, and they are very busy. I correct them by pointing out that LAST MONDAY was President's Day and that is no excuse for the poor customer service I am experiencing. This person brushes it off, and tells me that I can call Josh, the person who sold me the vehicle. They do not offer to transfer me or anything.

So I call Josh, the website manager, who sole me the vehicle. I leave him a very detailed voicemail message and explain my frustration. I still have not received a call back from him.

So I call Community Pontiac GMC a fourth time. Put on hold. Explain my situation to yet another person. Waste of time. This person tells me that I SHOULD LEAVE MY KEY IN THE VEHICLE WITH THE DOORS UNLOCKED so it can be picked up. WHAT??? I explain that I live in the middle of downtown Chicago, and I am NOT about to leave my unlocked vehicle in the street with the key in it. I am told they will check into it and someone will call me back.

So here I am, still waiting for someone from Community Pontiac GMC to get the situation figured out and resolved.

This seems to be typical customer service with Community Pontiac GMC. Every time I have had an issue with my vehicle, I experience these same responses. NONE of the issues with my vehicle have been resolved. Now my next step is involving an attorney. There are Lemon Laws in place to protect people like me from the situation... apparently Community Pontiac GMC doesn't care.

I used to despise this dealership, but now I adore it. In 1999, I was treated very rudely while trying to purchase a $45,000 vehicle. I went elsewhere. In 2006, I needed a dealer trade, but after 3 days of excuses from Community, I drove out to the dealership where the vehicle was and bought it from them. Back then, their service was atrocious with long wait times and my car was often returned with fingerprints, dirt, and grease inside and out. Everything seemed to change after their move to Tinley Park. I would have continued to avoid them, but a friend had a good experience and I figured I'd give them one last try. I was amazed at the difference. The sales staff is friendly, helpful, and surprisingly honest. And the service department is fantastic. Paul is always bright, cheery, humorous, and helpful. He does a great job and really seems to be interested in customer satisfaction. A few years ago, I would have advised anyone to avoid this place like the plague, but they've really turned things around and come a long long way!

I've been a long time customer (2000) and the Service Department at Community Pontiac GMC has always been reliable, excellent and efficient. Mr. Paul Klupshas and staff have always kept me apprised of any potential problems, are very knowledgeable and their quality work and end product has been phenomenal. I would recommend their services highly!

Whether it's bringing my car in for service or purchasing a new car, I thoroughly enjoy each experience at Community Pontiac GMC. Both the sales and service staff are top-notch and you never feel "hassled" by anyone. They've also delivered either on-time or ahead-of-time in regards to service and maintenance. Their people are the reason I am a repeat customer. :-)

Over the years I have had occasions to have service work performed at Community Pontiac. Each time I have been treated very well and the staff have always been friendly and helpful. My most recent experience with Service Rep. Paul Klupshas was no different. Paul explained everything in detail and made sure my concerns were addressed in a timely manner.

I am a repeat customer and I have NEVER had a bad experience. The service team is GREAT from the first call to schedule my appointment to the completion of the service. I have bought two cars including my current car; therefore the sales team must do a good job. Overall Community Pontiac will continue to get my business and referrals because of the service I receive, the quality of product and the friendly team members!!!Keep up the great work

PS I love the emails I receive about different promotions, and informative information and the courtesy calls after each car service appointment

My husband and I are repeat customers of Community Pontiac GMC. Besides the quality GM cars that they offer, the people here really go above and beyond what other dealers in the area offer as customer service. We felt very welcomed and relaxed, there was no pressure or stress or rushing our decisions. Joe Andracki helped us weigh options for every vehicle we were interested in, had great suggestions for what our family might need , then walked us through the buying process and layed out several options for finanacing. This was unlike any other car buying experience we have ever had and it will keep us coming back. The service department was also very prompt, friendly and clean. Nice job!

Made an appointment to have my car serviced for warranty work a few days in advance and brought it in at 9:30 on day of appointment. At 4:30 same day, called to check on it, and it was not even looked at. They said it would be first thing next morning, which is fine for people who don't need their cars! I told them it was not acceptable and went back to pick up my car. If they can't even get the car in to look at in a timely manner, who knows what the quality of work will be. I will not bring my car here again, try the LaGrange Pontiac!

I'd go here! Community Pontiac GMC recently moved from the Oak Park area, but is now in Tinley Park.

Community Pontiac GMC has new and used cars AND a parts & service department.
