The Shrine has done a great job of bringing in nationally known acts such as Talib Kweli, Platinum Pied Pipers and Roy Ayers. Local and national DJs keep the music popping. Cover charges are reasonable. The only reason I don't give it 5

The Shrine has a bit of a split personality. Half of the bar is great for dancing, while the other half is perfect for having conversating and sipping cocktails with friends. I've come here on a couple of different occasions and the crowd is not always the same, it can be a bit hit or miss.
