.

My fiance leased a 2010 Nissan Rogue at Boyland Nissan in Macomb MI. When she went to pick up the Rogue it had just been delivered and they couldn't find the second key. The salesman Jonathon Martin told her that he would get the key for her. Shortly after this Jonathon left Boyland Nissan for another job. My fiance tried several times to obtain the second key with no luck. She forgot about the situation until last week when we went to have a remote starter put on her car and she remembered that she had never received the second key. I called Boyland Nissan and was given to Mike the sales manager. I explained the situation and he put me on hold while he searched a box of spare keys he had. He came back and told me that he couldn't find ours. He also said that there was nothing else he could do except to get us another key for "cost". I called my fiance back and related what I was told. She then called Mike and told him in detail about how she had tried to obtain her second key with no results. He in so many words called her a liar and said that he couldn't give out keys to everyone who says they never got one. I then called him back and told him that we weren't out to screw him out of a key and that we could indeed buy our own key had it been our fault. I also told him that I was writing bad reviews about him wherever I could. He became very nasty and told me that I was now threatening him. He told me that he wasn't responsible for what the salesman had said. I replied to him "you are the manager aren't you?". He has the mentality of a shady used car salesman who treats valued customers like dirt. We will never go back there for anything and I would encourage others to beware! I guarantee that Mike will be the first one to tell us that we owe for a second key when the lease is up. I hope that somehow the original key shows up at the dealership and he realizes that he's chased away potential future customers. In reading other reviews at a number of sights it looks like Boyland Nissan hasn't gotten too many good reviews and has scored a 2.7 out of a possible 5. There's a reason for that and his name is Mike.
