Investors title misspelled the subdivision name on the documents. I tried for almost three months to get them to correct it. When they did, they entered an incorrect sale date and incorrect purchase price. I dread having to deal with them again. The woman I had to deal with was rude and talked down to me. Finally, after two months, I spoke with a manager. The change was made, but it was still incorrect on the county records.

Pros: None

Cons: Rude, impatient, condescending, overall unprofessional

I used Investors Title Company's services when I purchased a four-family apartment building in St. Louis this summer. Someone at the company's Clayton branch initially misspelled my name--and despite my repeated attempts over a period of several months to get them to change their records, they never did. Then, when they misspelled my name on the DEED itself, they tried to blame another company! It has been over four months, and Investors Title Company has done NOTHING to correct their own mistake. I have been advised to hire an attorney to fix the problem and have him bill them!

Investors Title Company has got to be the worst in St. Louis, or at least it's Clayton branch is. They are incompetent, dishonest and unresponsive. I have no idea what I paid them for!
