Cary office staff is excellent and over the top nice! Clean facility. I had a periodontal procedure done by Dr. Haynes, he said it wouldn't be a big deal and I could be at work the following day. I took some time off just in case and I am so glad I did. Stitches in your gums under your tongue doesn't sound like "not a big deal" and it wasn't. I had pain and was on liquid diet for over a week. Simply talking caused pain because your tongue has to touch the stitches. I was out of work for 10 days. The post op instructions were vague and had the wrong phone # printed at the top. I had signs of infection at the site and increased pain over the weekend, but even though they do surgeries and painful dental procedures, this office does not have an "on call" person! Their voicemail encouraged me to go to the ER. I'm a nurse so I know how this works. I'd wait all night in the ER, get a $400 bill and tell me to follow up with periodontist on Monday. Even Dr. Haynes told me not to look at the site because I may pull a stitch loose, and I wasn't about to let some MD who didn't know my history go poking and prodding back there. So I waited until Monday. Except this periodontist is only in this office EVERY OTHER TUESDAY! What are you supposed to do if you have complications?! I saw a dentist in the Cary office on Monday who was amazing, and on Tuesday I went to the Wake Forest office (where their staff is a joke) to see Dr. Haynes, who said everything is fine. A couple days later my stitches fell out. The gum recession that was supposed to be corrected is much worse than it was before the procedure. So now I have to wait and wait to see the periodontist again. He only works Tuesdays and Thursdays in Raleigh and Cary. But it just so happens he is off this Thursday. I understand complications happen, but if I had someone available to answer questions/concerns or see me when having complications (instead of making me wait so it can potentially get worse), I would be more likely to recommend him. At least have someone on call to answer questions if you are doing surgeries or major dental procedures. Even my primary dentist has someone on call on weekends! Maybe he will redeem himself when I am finally able to see him for a follow up.

I had a great experience. They told me I need to floss, but of course most aren't good at flossing. To the other review, if every time you go there is an issue then why do you keep going and do you really expect people to take your review seriously. The hygenist was very friendly and it being my first visit here I felt very welcomed and comfortable with everything that took place. It was cool to see the x-rays pop up on the computer screen and if it wasn't right they would retake it without cost.

Every time my husband, my friend, or I go here we need MAJOR work done to our teeth. I have always had good teeth with a few cavities. Now all of a sudden Dr Hooker says I need 2 root canals. My husband and friend were both told they need bone grafts and all this crazy stuff. I think they are just trying to make a quick buck!
