Simply put....poor service (staff/manager smoking while tables are not waited on) and lousy pizza that took 40 minutes to make while there was literally 2 tables occupied. The pizza quality is something less than the common frozen pizza. Pick any other place in downtown for better service and pizza...Vick's, Moonlight, or even Mellow Mushroom. If you want to get hosed go to sauced!

No, I don't own Sauced or work there; just discovered it and love it. Here is my review posted on another site:
I have read the previous negative reviews and cannot understand their experiences. Perhaps it was during Sauced's first weeks or something but I don't know when they opened.
I have eaten at Sauced about twelve times in the three weeks since I was lucky enough to discover it. I have never had anything there that was not excellent, the pizza, salads, sandwiches and service (especially the service). I have recommended it to several friends and all are regulars now.
The prices are surprisingly low ($2.50 a slice) and the service is rapid. I will not say that it is the best pizza I have had but it is certainly in the top ten and as good as any currently available in Raleigh.
All things considered, I think the other reviews were written by competitors or grocery store frozen pizza enthusiasts. but you should give Sauced a try and make up your own mind. Go on Monday night, slices are only $1.00.

Pros: pizza is excellent, staff fantastic

Cons: prices too low, can they survive?
