IDK what skinheads in the traditional sense of the word hang out here. I do have a short buzz cut but anything but a skinhead. I've be going to the Tav (cuz its a second home) for over a year and haven't seen anyone who fits that

Don't go to The Tavern on W. Markham Ave. in Durham. The place is a dump, it apparently draws a white-supremecist skinhead clientele, and it tows people from its poorly-marked parking lot. All around evil!

Finally! Great bar food on Ninth Street at a non-bike bar! The Tavern is way classy and has a sandwich called The Gambler that is out of this world! You can hardly wrap your hands around it. Two huge patties and God know what else.

The Tavern is everything you'd want in a sports bar. Great food, drinks and events. BUT lately it seems to have been claimed by a local skinhead hate group that likes to harass customers and destroy property in the parking lot. A real
