My family has been going to Dr. Roerig for almost 15 years. In my experiences, he not only knows what he is doing, but genuinely cares about his patients. He was there for the passing of 3 of our dogs, all within a few years of each other and he was compassionate yet professional through it all. Our Boxer who was suffering from the effects of cancer was in his care overnight. He checked on her around 11p.m. probably and called us to let us know that her health was deteriorating and that if we wanted to come say goodbye it was a good idea since she might not make it through the night. He gave us all of the time we needed to say goodbye and be with her in the end... How many vets do you know that check on the dogs in their care after closing! And if they did, would they stay there in the middle of the night with you and your family while you say goodbye to your beloved family member? Doubtful... Dr. Roerig has never rushed us out of his office and he's always there to offer advice. As far as whoever else is working in the office and whatever his kids are doing, who cares? This hasn't impacted us or any of our pets. Might some people consider it unprofessional that his kids are around? Maybe. But the fact that Dr. Roerig lives right there, is what allows him to check on your pets throughout the night! In fact, I recently moved almost an hour away, tried a vet local to me, wasn't comfortable there, and will be back at Glen Manor today. I love my dogs (they're family to me) and I won't trust anyone besides Dr. Roerig with their care!

I have been bringing my animals to Glen Manor for over 10 years. I have noticed the 2 boys growing up and are very weird kids. They do run thru the office and one is quite scary along with their friends. They should not be in the office - just upstairs in their home or outside. I have noticed the Vet's wife works on the animals and probably isn't certified legally. I have noticed the facility is quite scattered and in dissaray, specially the operating room areas and where the animals are kept. Not organized or clean. Very unprofessional place. My biggest complaint would be the kids, now big and tall, but still quite weird. I've seen them mistreat animals, including their own over the years. Dr. R. is very scatterbrained and has forgotten many things, where I've had to remind him why I was there or what he forgot to do.

We've been going to Glen Manor for well over 10 years. He is by far the best vet in the world. He cares so much about the pets and owners. In response to "unkind," we're humans and we have our on and off days, especially in a job as stressful as being a vet. This is a man you can call in the middle of the night and he'll be there. I've referred all my pet-owning friends here and they too have been coming back for years.

Glen Manor vet is the best animal hospital I have ever been to. Everyone on the staff is so helpful and kind. They are always there to help me with questions about my animals. I am so glad they are located in my area.

I don't care if a vet is unkind to humans -- but to animals? That's where I draw the line. Not to mention that Roerig isn't much of a diagnostician.

For close to twenty years, my family always brought our dogs to Glen Manor. The vet there really cares about his patients and their owners and it shows. When we had to put down my eighteen year old dog who was like a sibling/child to me, the vet allowed me to take my time to say goodbye, offering comforting words and taking very good care of my Susie until the very end... A few days later we even received a card from him expressing his condolences. It meant a lot to my family and I, and if I ever get a pet again, we will be going to Glen Manor.
