.

I hadn't googled or read about this place before I stopped by last night for a private event. I was pleasantly surprised that it was not a typical Alphabet City bar. This is actually an intimate performance space that was constructed with a lot of green products.

There is a nice size stage, theater style seating for I would say 60, 2 bathrooms, a mini bar and kitchen all within the small confines of this gem.

I saw a few live art performances here last night and enjoyed the closeness of the acts to the audience. I was sitting a few rows back but could easily hear the performances with no microphones. With energy friendly lighting, bamboo staging and recycled paper in the bathroom, this place definitely catches the "go green" idea.

If you're looking to host your small theatre troupe here or give a small concert to your fans, definitely check out The Wild Project!
