i bought a car from here this summer the check engine light came on a day after i bought it i went back 3 times and everytime they kept reseting light and thats all they did it turns out it was something with the gas cap nothing serious

I visited kiss a car looking for a used car after an accident had totaled mine. I asked the salesman Adel to see 2 of the cars I was interested and he gave me the keys to check them out. After weeks of looking for a car I had finally found the one I wanted (right up front on display) that suited my needs perfectly. I told him I was interested but that I was concerned about the "check engine light" being on. He said "well what about the other car? You don't like that one?" clearly I would have picked that one if I did. I had my mechanic on hand right down the block and had him take a look as I passed his shop on my test drive. He said the light was on due to emissions which would have to be fixed upon inspection but nothing else and felt the car was good to go for a sale. The salesman insisted he have his mechanic look at the car first and said he would call me when he heard something. He wouldn't take a deposit and from his attitude I got the feeling he wasn't going to sell this car to me no matter what. Whatever the case was, he never called. I called to check in he said...I'll call you when I know! So I waited. 2 days passed he never called. Finally stopped by and he said "oh the car needs a new computer I'm selling it wholesale" not only did he never bother to call and tell me this but his mechanic's story didn't match with mine. He then called telling me to come check out another car he had. I'd call this a classic case of Bait & Switch. I ended up at a much better dealer elsewhere that not only treated me with respect and courtesy but also added new tires, brakes, a 6 month warranty to the sale, spoke very knowledgeably about the cars he sells and the business he runs and proved to be a no-nonsense guy. I got a great used car at a great deal but no thanks to kissacar that's for sure.
