After spending a good 3 years trying out and writing off at least 15 different mechanics I finally have found one: Broadway Auto Clinic. These guys did an excellent job of explaining every facet of my car and problem, explaining what was urgent and what was extra, and even gave the time to think over my choices. In the end I was extremely satisfied.

This is a real American business: they treat you with respect and help you in any way they can.

I have and will continue to suggest them to all of my friends, do your self a favor and try them out.

I'd like to comment on this unfair review.

I am the owner of Broadway.

This customer came in with a car that had not been properly maintained.The whole car was falling apart. She even writes in her review, how she ended up getting rid of the car anyway.

Her left wheel was literally falling off because her wheel bearing was bad, and she kept driving it, despite the fact it was grinding and unsafe. But her complaint was that her ABS light was on! So, we told her that we did not have the specific diagnostic computer to check her ABS problem, but that it was possible that the bad wheel bearing was causing the ABS light to be on. We needed to replace it, no matter what. As it turns out, the wheel bearing was not all that was wrong with her ABS. We apologized, and told her we could not check the code, and that the dealer would be able to help her further.

We also fixed her rear brakes, which she failed to mention weren't working. We also added oil to her engine, which wasn't even reading on the dipstick.

She tried to get the credit card company and the BBB to get us to refund the money to her, but they both ruled completely in my favor. Why? Because we did nothing wrong and only tried to help her. This inaccurate information she has written here is not what you should expect from Broadway Auto Clinic. We service thousands of vehicles, and 99.9 percent of our customers are happy, and keep coming back. The .1 percent that are not happy seem to like posting here?My wife and I literally put our life into our business, and we do our best to satisfy everyone. The reality is when people are satisfied, they seldom will write about it, but when they are not happy due to their perception, right or wrong, they are very vocal.

I have had such a difficult time trying to find a good mechanic. Colleagues referred me to Broadway Auto Clinic and I had hoped that finally I found a company that was fair and trustworthy. I recently had some repairs done to my car for which Broadway Auto Clinic confirmed had fixed the issue. Furthermore, they had called and requested additional time (= additional $$) to further investigate the problem and communicated with confidence that the wheel bearing replacement to the tune of $300.00 had addressed the issue. The minute I drove it off the lot, the problem started right back up. When I brought the car back in they made a number of excuses, such as "well we only test drove it a couple of minutes" and "we can't know everything about cars." Then to add insult to injury, they said they didn't know what else to do and I would have to take it to the dealership to have it fixed. No refund, no apology, just an I can't fix it after they had charged me $300.00 to fix it. I am trying to dispute the charge through my credit card company but Broad Auto is providing false information. The way in which this was handled was extremely unprofessional, unethical and cowardly. I hope this review prevents an unsuspecting buyer from experiencing the same. I wish I had read the reviews here before going to Broadway. I never would have gone. I would have traded in my car like I was thinking about doing and saved myself $800.00. I ended up having to get rid of the car anyway.

I took my car to Broadway Auto for 4 new tires. I was told I would be in and out in about an hour. Well it took them twice as long. Upon driving home my car started to shake going 65mph on 87. I pulled off and stopped to take a look. The wheel was tilted so I called a tow truck. I had it towed to a nearby shop. They found 3 wheel nuts had fallen off and the other 2 where very loose. They said,? whoever put the wheel on forgot to tighten the nuts?. I had to replace all the studs and nuts. They also said, "your lucky that the wheel didn't fall off". After writing this I will not waste another minute with Broadway Auto.

I remember this customer well. He was upset, because I had installed the *correct size* tire on his Jeep. Perhaps I should not have assumed that he wanted the right size, and wanted the wrong size that was on there already.

While we took off one of his hubcaps, it crumbled apart, due to it's age. I tried to explain to that it had been off many times, and it was fatigued. He blamed me, and said we broke it. Our fault or not,I offered to look for another one for him so he wouldn't be upset, but he was already foaming at the mouth, and yelling at me and my wife for the above mentioned things..

I did offer to change over his tires and order a hub-cap for him, but instead, he said F-you to me said he would take me to court, and then burned out in my parking lot, almost running over my foot.

Still, I arranged for another shop to change over his tires, which they did, because he threatened legal action against me, and right or wrong, I didn't need the hassle. I would have gladly switched over his tires had he not been so abusive to us.

I'm sorry it didn't go as it usually does. If you read other reviews from other sited, you'll see that this is definitely not the norm. My staff cares deeply about our customers good experiences with us,as we have for the last 13 years.

The owner replied that "I'm not afraid to go to court - everyone in town knows me and they'll throw your case out".

Whether or not this guy knows everyone in town is irrelevant. The way that he treats his customers, especially when he's made mistakes, is unacceptible.
