Studio Zen

Studio Zen is a cute salon with a relaxing vibe and friendly stylists. It's always been very clean and had fun music playing when I've been there. Everyone I've talked with there is very helpful and cheerful all the time. I've been going to Aura for cuts and color for years and she is wonderful at working with your hair type and giving you a style that suits you perfectly. My hair has always turned out great, and she does really beautiful natural looking hair colors, and her cuts always grow out well, without losing their shape and getting all awkward. It's located on campus which is a great area for walking around and getting in some shopping at all the nearby boutiques.

Studio Zen is a nice, up-to-date salon located on Campus Corner by OU. They take walk-ins and appointments and also sell hair products, art, jewelry, etc. I have been going to Aura for a couple of years (since moving to Norman) for cuts and color and she is awesome! Talented, current on trends, and so friendly! I have never had a bad cut or color there since day one. I have observed other employees there and they all seem to have the same excellent skills and friendly demeanor. The atmosphere is also comfortable and visually interesting, which is great if you're going to be there for hours every few weeks like I am :). I highly recommend Studio Zen.

I won a free haircut at Studio Zen on the first day of college, and, needless to say, I was so excited! However, panic quickly struck me when I realized that I had no idea where this place was--on the day of my appointment!! (I am from out of state). I quickly looked it up online, and was so pleased to see that it was so conveniently located on campus corner, very close to the dorms and definitely within walking distance!! (I didn't bring my car). The vibe is so cool in the building, and the artist who did my hair, Erin, was soooo great!! Definitely request her if you go here...She did/knew exactly what I wanted and I came out of there feeling and looking so great! I would definitely recommend Studio Zen to everyone!!
