I don't normally write reviews, but I was so shocked at how unprofessional and rude Jamie is that I had to do something. This morning a friend and I tried unsuccessfully to redeem a gift certificate for the fourth time after Jamie had cancelled three previous times at the last minute. She refused to give us our pedicures this morning and treated us like we were trash. I guess she figured she had already been paid and didn't feel like she needed to honor the gift certificate.

I moved to Eugene for school a few months back and was looking for a salon like the one back home and found Jamie at NV. Not only has she been in magazines but her skills are honed! Jamie's team is fun, friendly and knowledgeable. I am so glad I found her. If you're looking for serious nail work, call NV! This place rocks!

Just had a mani-pedi with Jamie. As an avid gardener, fisherwoman and outdoors type of person she had her work cut out for her when I walked in. I walked out after receiving a relaxing exfoliation massage, with cuticles trimmed, nicely shaped nails, tastefully done polish, and feeling great about the experience. A session with Jaimie will do wonders for your confidence as well as your nails.

After having to call the facility to figure out just where they were located, I finally found the "salon". I was greeted by the owner, who was smoking right outside her salon door.

After waiting roughly 30 minutes for the esthetician, Jamie decided to do my nails. She did a very short trash bag paraffin dip, then trimmed my, as she called them, "nail biter nails", then painted them. (she had to cover my hands with trash bags because she didn't have any more paraffin bags) Soon there after, the esthetician appeared wearing a non-age appropriate mini dress. She asked me to come back to her "room" where she asked me to remove my shirt. With freshly painted nails, this was hard to do and resulted in several smugged nails. She slathered my face with products I could have found at home... and most of it ended up in my hair.

The "facial room" was similar to an office cubical. It was small, cluttered and lacked ambiance. Additionally I could hear everyone int he main room... mainly Jamie who was overly occupied with belittling her hairstylist and ushering her employees to do/get things for her.

After the facial it was time for the pedi. This equated to me putting my feet into luke-warm water for a short time... then Jamie plucking cuticles off. Unimpressed!

After pedi it was time for my haircut. Jamie forgot to inform her stylist to come in, so I indeed had to wait again for this gal to drive up from Cottage Grove. The stylist was a really sweet, personable gal who should truly work for someone else! Jamie had provided her a coat closet to work out of and the poor gal didn't even have a mirror fixed to the wall, it was propped up by (what I think should be) the top of her table minus the legs. Instead of getting a shampoo she used a squirt bottle on my hair. After a minute trim, she tussled my hair and said, "All done"... no blow dry, no style NOTHING!

I left approximately 2 hours later with wet, honey glazed hair and ruined fingernails. Jamie would probably have a successful business if she could have a fully stocked, professional-looking, customer-oriented, salon. Instead you pay for an office visit where the "owner" wanders around her table constantly tugging at her pants, and barking "can you get me..." "can you hand me..." orders at her seemingly helpless employees.

Don't go here unless you want to 1)see how NOT to run a business or 2)Have a great laugh

A great place for having your nails done! Jamie is a hard worker and does a beautiful job on both hand and feet!! When I mess up a nail she's always got time to patch it up before my next appointment! Try her studio and I know you'll go back again and again!!
