These people will cheat you in every single steps. This is the intentional cheating appraoch. They will lie on your face.
I stayed with them with a thre bedroom condo. On my way way to Myrtle beach, they called us and changed to a dirty condo, when I had no choice.

These reviews have a purposeand I am not talking about all the fake reviews you see on here...if you're thinking, Ah, just a few aggravated people that have left bad reviews - this place can't be that bad Wrong!! Listen folks, stay as far away from this place and these people as possible unless you want your vacation ruined.

I booked three months in advance, for an ocean front room for my family for 10 days in July 2015. I was called on my way to the beach and told there was a problem with my room. They either double booked it or it had mold in itthey said they had to move me to another hotel for the first 3 nights. I was told by Ken (management), this was all they had, no other choice or dont check in. After 3 nights I would then get moved again to yet another hotel for the rest of the week. Neither of which was the hotel i originally booked.

To keep this review short lets get to it...my wife and I spent the first 3 nights sleeping on the floor as the unit was not even big enough to use an air mattress and no way could we all sleep in this unit (it slept less people than what we booked), all while having a view of a noisy parking deck and a marsh swamp...which was capped off by then being sent back to another room mid vacation. In the second room I had to actually remove the pipes and fix an hvac leak myself (as well as spend 3 hours cleaning up 1/8 of an inch of standing water in the kitchen). Both rooms they put us in had a vomit smell in them, things were torn, dirty, ripped, several electrical outlets didn't work...lights that didn't work...i could go on but you get the point. I'm not really even complaining about the general cleanliness issues - i would have accepted that, just the lack of effort by Myrtle Grand to work with me on some sort of partial refund for the downgraded room as well as the troubles of the last minute room changes all while trying to salvage my vacation!

Their advertised rooms are neglectedI feel sorry for the actual owners of these units that have them in their rental program (not surprisingly, some of them have left reviews here as well) .The staff/manager/owner of Myrtle Grand Vacations (Gina, Candi, Ken and Walter) which I dealt with, will lie to you. Gina and Candi seem nice...they probably are, but I have placed 21 phone calls to them over the course of almost 3 weeks and have gotten nowhere because they have to wait on management. Ken who states he is the manager can't make any decisions on his own so i'm not sure what his purpose is and the entire staff will just keep putting you off.

Hopefully, if you have read this review to this point, whether you are a renter or a unit owner you will take my warning and go elsewhere they have a very specifically detailed rental contract you have to sign that covers them carefully in all these scenarios...they have it this way for a reason! I predict a response to this review similar to all their negative BBB reviews along the lines of the customer was offered a FULL refundthat's just not true and it's not that simple, so don't let a response like that offset this review or their BBB complaints, if you do, just as I did, you'll be writing a similar review very soon.

In the time it takes you to read the next review, you can easily search the internet and find another rental company with much better services and staff to handle your vacation...and probably at a much lower price...so I recommend doing that...save yourself the trouble, you are saving nothing by using Myrtle Grand Vacations.

Back from our 2nd stay at Myrtle Beach Resort and as usual had a great time!! The landscape is beautiful and there is so much to do right at the resort! It rained three days while we were there but my daughters still got to swim in the indoor pool. We stay in a beautiful condo in building A and love it! It's close to Murrell's Inlet, Georgetown, Brookgreen Gardens, Pawley's Island, etc. and not far from Broadway at the Beach, the boardwalk and hundreds of other attractions! You can sit and watch the ducks and swans or enjoy the beautiful beach. There are play areas, ball courts, swimming pools, etc. We always enjoy being there. It is a very secure area. Now it is like a home away from home to us!!

Don't be fooled by the fake reviews previously posted. I want to share my experience as a unit owner in their rental program for almost 3 years. Does this look like a company you want to rent from or list your unit with?
1. Rental Manager Voice Mail box and Company Owner Voicemail Box full almost always throughout the year, including right now.
2. Rental Income Paid Late 10 of 12 months in 2013.
3. Waited more than 90 days to close out account and pay after we cancelled rental agreement.
4. Generated 1/4 to 1/3 in rental income as compared to Baywatch Resort's own rental program in 2011, 2012, 2013.
5. Negotiates special vendor pricing for its rental owners significantly higher than fair market value like a $300 cleaning fee vs industry Standard of $100 or less.
6. Owners in their program expect to experience slow or no response at all from emails and voicemails left for rental manager.
7. You will experience a high number of Deliver Charges and Maintenance Charges on your owners statement, you will wonder if they are real.

Your choice, you decide! This my truthful and Official Complaint of my experience with Myrtle Grand Vacations!

This is one of the few companies in the Grand Strand that allows student rentals for some of their places. I rented a place for my son and his 3 graduating friends this past year. I never had the chance (as with work things you can forget) to say thanks to them for being so good to the boys. Many people will not give younger adults a chance at the beach, but they did. My son and his friends are good young adults and it was very special to me that they were allowed to have the opportunity.

Great Time at the Myrtle Beach Resort. I am single mother of 2 and we just returned 2 days ago from a fantastic stay at teh Myrtle Beach Resort. Due to limited funds I am not able to take my girls to the beach during summer. However, I was able to get a great deal from Becca at Myrtle Grand Vacations for a 3 days stay in one of the condos in the tower, unit 1615. It was very spacious had pools, clean and everything that we nneded to have a great vacations. A single mom, I really appreciated Becca working very hard to make it possible for me to take my family to the beach. Thanks!

Great Time at the Myrtle Beach Resort. I am single mother of 2 and we just returned 2 days ago from a fantastic stay at teh Myrtle Beach Resort. We used Myrtle Grand Vacations this past summer and stayed in Bay Watch Resort 615. We found the room to be the cleanest and in the best shape of any room we have ever stayed in at the resort. This was our 5th straight year staying at Bay Watch Resort. Furnishings were in great shape, cabinets organized and nicely decorated. Additionally we found the staff to be very friendly, efficient and caring. I would highly recommend using them as we will certainly be returning in 2013.

Difficult group to do business with. Never follow through you have to make multiple phone calls to verify information. Worst problem is I am also having a difficult time gettint my security deposit returned. I filed a complaint today with BBB. Walter of course indicates this must have been lost in the mail. I am very suspicious. He still can't answer e-mails. I paid the security deposit by 30 days prior to the visit. Nothing has been lost in the mail except my refund. Stay away from these people.

My brother and I rented Casa Del Sol from Myrtle Grand Vacations for the week of 7/9. The homeowner ended up leaving this real estate company and moving the management to Elliot Rental. I called in after making a full payment to confirm the stay and they had moved us from a private house to a cheap "resort" without notifying us. I was alarmed and immediately felt like I had been scammed. After talking with the customer service rep, she got the owner (Walter Pigg) to issue a refund for $2500 because of the mistake. 12 days later a refund showed up for $2350-$150 less than what was promised. I called & spoke with the owner (Walter Pigg) who was extremely rude and hung up on me after refusing to refund the $150 "cancellation fee" that he didn't mention 12 days before. He said it was used to cover credit card fees (there was a refund!). I didn't cancel my rental agreement with them to get another property, I just wanted the one that I had initially agreed upon. This company is a scam!
