Dr. Bookmyer is a fantastic pediatric dentist. My son has been seeing her for over 8 years and he loves her (and so do his parents). I really appreciate that everyone from the receptionist to the hygienists to Dr. Bookmyer herself remember every patients name as soon as they walk through the door. Great service.

I was more nervous about finding a dentist for my son than finding a dentist for myself. Luckily, I found Dr. Bookmyer on the internet and I haven't given it a second thought since! She's great with the kids and the whole staff works hard to make it a great experience for both parent and child.

dr bookmyer replaced my two upper incisors that were lost as a result of an accident. It was a long process as I needed a bone graft prior to the implants. But it was well worth the wait. It was very traumatic for me to lose my front teeth. Now I have two beautiful front teeth and I am not afraid to smile anymore. It is also much easier to eat as I do not have to wear a removeable appliance anymore. I am a very thankful patient!

Dr Bookmyer extracted my daughters wisdom teeth. What a great experience. Nothing like some of the horror stories you hear with wisdom teeth. Highly recommmended!
5I brought my teenage daughter in for her wisdom teeth to be extracted. She was very nervous, and Dr. Bookmyer and the staff were very comforting to her. Her procedure was quick, and she recovered very well. I have heard stories of how awful getting your wisdom teeth out is, but my daughter wanted to go to the movies with her friends the day after. I definately would recommend Dr. Bookmyer

Pros: What a perfect experience!
Cons: None. Really.
Dr. Kelsey Bookmeyer has seen my daughter for about 4 years now. My daughter has special needs and is deathly afraid of dentists (and most doctors). Dr. Kelsey, as we call her, was recommended to me and I'm so glad we found her. She and her staff are extremely patient with my daughter. They give us a private room so that my daughter doesn't have to see other patients being worked on. There is a TV in the ceiling (not to mention video games and TV in the waiting room). My daughter won't sit in the chair, so Dr. Kelsey lets her sit (or stand) where she is comfortable and does her thing. She doesn't force my daughter to do more than she can handle and we never leave there upset (which is quite unusual for us with dentists). Dr. Kelsey always makes sure we have the same hygienist and she is great too. They calm my daughter down and give her rewards for when she lets Dr. Kelsey get her instruments in her mouth. The smallest things are huge for us. And, Dr. Kelsey and her staff make that happen.
We have also had the experience of having day surgery to take care of some issues that my daughter couldn't tolerate in the office. That was also a good experience. Not only do I appreciate Dr. Kelsey's demeanor, but her knowledge and expertise as well. I am confident that she is working for the good of my daughter and the special issues we face.
I highly recommend Dr. Kelsey to parents of children with special needs and for any child.

I am in the customer service industry so I wanted to ensure I shared my thoughts. I had to get all 4 wisdom teeth removed and opted to have it done at one time. I was in the office at 11:00 and back home by 1:30 with no pain. I was shocked because I am in my mid-thirties and heard horror stories about how much worse the experience is the older we get. The professionalism and competence far exceeded what I had hoped for. If you are nervous about wisdom teeth extraction then this is the office to visit. Thank you to Dr. Bookmyer and his staff.

The Dr and his team are wonderful. Before I could say Jack Robinson, they had removed my wisdom teeth .I felt no pain during and after, amazing.I made a couple of calls to the office after the surgery and the response was very professional and encouraging. They reiterated my belief in assessing people on individual basis.

Dr. Bookmyer is fantastic and knowledgeable, completely setting our minds at ease over wisdom teeth extraction and dental implants. My daughter was the patient, and she said that he was "too nice", she wanted to dislike him, but could not.

The staff and Dr. Bookmyer are amazing. My son had his first visit there soon after turning three years old and I didn't really know what to expect from a pediatric dentist.
The waiting room has a tv with cartoons and a video game. The exam went very smoothly, the kids are on a flat bed and watch cartoons in a tv mounted into the ceiling. They gave my son a choice of cool sunglasses to wear during the exam too. The x-ray room is the "airplane room" and the kids think it is so cool.
At the end of the exam Dr. Bookmyer had a picture taken with my son that was then mailed to him with a certificate showing he had his first dental exam.
I was so impressed with how kid friendly EVERYTHING was about their office. I couldn't imagine going anywhere else.
PROS: Everything about the office is for the kids.
CONS: Can be hard to get an appointment on short notice.
