I went to the Galleria location on 9July2011, and I got pink eye from their eye pad they use during the massage, the cloth kind with the warming rice beads inside. When I spoke to management about it, a Ms. Rogers offered to make it right for my next visit (why would I go back when I got a communicable disease there?) They did not even offer me my money back, they did not place a towel between my eyes and the pad (as is their protocol) and they put the eye pad back into the cabinet (management told me that they autoclave the device, or sterilize it between uses, which was a lie). I would not recommend them to ANYONE, and I have already reported them to the Texas State Health Department. Save your money, and protect yourselves. Erica Jackson, BSN RN

I tried M&H at the Galleria and was so pleasantly surprised. I expected good but the massage I got was great! I highly recommend Shannon. Best massage ever! I am looking forward to being able to go back.

Pros: lovely relaxing atmosphere, great services

Cons: small locker room

Just finally went into M&H at the Galleria, what a treat! Had the best facial, the basic MH facial is fine for me. Atmosphere is wonderful, not stuffy at all, a little serene sanctuary in the middle of the mall. I've already been back and scheduled another treatment, now I'm hooked!

I have been to several spas around Austin, but never to M+H. I went to the Hill Country location yesterday, and I really like this place. For being fairly new, they really seem to have it together. The front desk person was very courteous and helpful on the phone and when I arrived. The interior is very relaxing - nice decor and layout without being busy or overdone. And seriously, you need to check out the massage with Courtney. I was looking for a mix of relaxation and muscle recovery and, after discussing it with me attentively, she provided exactly that. One of the best combinations of light and deep work I can remember. It can seem a little pricey, but I feel that I got a very good value based on the massage and general customer treatment, which is a premium in itself in this town. I will definitely go back!

Cons: Can be a bit of a drive

Just returned home from a wonderful massage from Ben. My entire experience, from my initial phone call to paying upon completion...was very positive! The staff was very professional and contributed to the entire zen-like setting in which the spa was trying to portray. Ben was a fantastic masseuse! It is the perfect, relaxing environment to enjoy with your friends and make a day of it! The customer service and attention to detail make Milk + Honey Spa the perfect oasis. Thank you!

Pros: Great customer service, professional, relaxing

Cons: None!

Very sanitary. They don't reuse buffers and emory boards. Each person gets a new set. Metal tools (clippers, etc,) are sanitized in a machine and sealed in a package before their next use. Even the parafin is poured in a bag rather than having you stick your foot or arm in a basin. You pay more but I think it is worth it because of the above. I've had the manicures last a week and the pedicures last over a month.

Pros: Manicures and Pedicures last, sanitary, attention to detail

Cons: I think that they no longer have zoya polish..I'm not liking the new brand as much

I REALLY LOVE LIVING IN AUSTIN B/C I LIKE THE EASY GOING ATMOSPHERE AND THIS PLACE DOES NOT FIT IN TO THAT. THEY THINK THEY ARE IN NEW YORK OR LA OR SOMEWHERE, ESPECIALLY WITH THEIR PRICES. MY NAILS CHIPPED 2 DAYS AFTER I GOT A MANICURE AND MY MASSAGE WAS NOT RELAXING NOR RELIEVING. I WILL NOT BE GOING BACK.

My job requires me to travel a lot and I have made it a point to visit spas around the world in the meantime. Milk and Honey has recently become on my top 3 spas list and I am so happy that it is in my home town! Last month I went in for a facial and massage. The massage therapist was so great! She listened to exactly what I wanted and pinpointed my pain. Not only did I get a great treatment but it was very relaxing at the same time. I felt great even for a couple of days after my massage! Brittany did an amazing job on my facial. She really helped me understand what was going on with my skin and I have to say it was the best faical I have had yet! Not to mention the spa was very clean and inviting. The lounge area is exactly what you would picture as a "spa getaway" I highly reccommend this spa and will return soon!

When my husband and I moved to California for 6 months I was so sad to leave Milk and Honey. When ever I came into town I always called in advance to get a treatment. I usually go with a friend to get a pedicure. I absolutely love them and the parafin wax (you have to pay extra but woth it). I went one time and they had accidentally messed up my appointment. They made up for it in many ways with extra treatments, an add-on, and gave me a 50% off coupon for my next visit!!!! Now that was customer service. I did have a massage there that was average. I've had worse and better. The ambience is great too.

I went to milk + honey after reading a review for their H!t the Trail package. Don't waste your money! The sports massage that I got was awesome, but the pedicure I got afterwards was awful. They barely spent 15 minutes gently scrubbing my feet and then informed me that if I wanted my toes polished it would be extra. With this package what you're paying for is a tiny $50 bottle of sunscreen. Save your money and just schedule a sports massage, but skip the crappy pedicure and overpriced sunscreen. This is the second time I've been to this spa for a nail treatment, the first time was for a manicure, and neither time did they do a good job.

My mom was coming into town and we were planning a shopping trip to the Hill Country Galleria for Saturday. I called milk + honey Friday and the staff was very accomodating and able to get us two appointments for Saturday afternoon for mini facials and eye treatments. The staff was very friendly and we enjoyed lounging in their rest area, drinking cucumber water and eating snacks both before and after our treatments. Our skin looked amazing afterward and we felt very relaxed and pampered. It was a great way to end our day and rest our feet after walking the mall. I highly recommend the new location and spending a day out there like we did.

I had my eye brows done after having a really horrible day and she washed my face after I had my brows done and put me back together!!! In addition everyone in the spa was great! I had booked a mni pedi and then came down with the flu and they where so great about not charging me for missing! I have a spa day booked for next week and I am really looking forward to it!!
