This place was recommended to me by my friends, and after going there I can certainly recommend it to others. The service is great, as it is hard to find such service in a busy area. The atmosphere is relaxing, and the decor looks calming and nice. I had the smoked salmon for an appetizer, and it was very tastie. My girlfriend had the gnocchi, and I had to try it because it had three cheeses! It was very good. I had the taglierini with chicken, and could not be happier. My buddy had the veal, and ate everything on the plate. The wine was teriffic. I overall think the food was delicious, we all had a good time. If you are hungry, want great food, and just feel like you are in the middle of a happening area and place, this is the spot.

I went here this past saturday night and was amazed at how well we were treated. The pasta i ordered was cooked perfectly. They sat us quickly and the service was very helpful when choosing our meal. The Dessert was great too. I would definitely come back and try some of the other options.

Last week my wife and I happened to stumble on to this lovely Italian Restaurant after a movie at Lincoln Theatre. We had a wonderful dinner especially the
Spaghetti with shrimp and broccoli rabe. The Goat cheese salad with baby spinach was also outstanding.
We rally enjoyed the atmosphere and the service was good. The place was very busy and all the tables were full. We shared a nice bottle of Chardonnay which the waiter suggested. It was a very good choice. The desserts were delicious. My only concern was the weight I gained from finishing the generous portions they served us. Considering the location this is a bargain. Brunch at Luce is one of the few things that gets me out of bed on a Saturday. The food is so good and the staff is lovely. They offer a list of things that you actually want to eat. Great neighborhood spot, but also worth a trip!

I went there Saturday night with my girlfriend and was impressed with not only the food, but the service was top notch and the atmosphere was wonderful. We thought for sure we were some place in Italy instead of in the heart of NYC. I have recommended this restaurant to many people and I have yet to have anyone dissatisfied. The outside sitting was wonderful also!!!

Me and my husband like coming to this Italian restaurant before or after a movie at Lincoln Square Cinema. They serve good food and great vine selection.

I had dinner in Luce two days ago with a friend who recommended it. I've been to a lot of restaurants in Italy and I have to say this one comes pretty close. The friendly staff, and just the warm atmosphere in it, made the lunch quite enjoyable. I'm pretty sure that next week I'll be going there with my girlfriend :)

Last night i went to Luce for the 2nd time and i felt compelled to write and just say i loved my experince there. The food was excellent! The Wine the server selected for us was great and the service was impeccable

We had a wonderful diner at Luce , the food was outstanding all around ,service was really good and friendly.This is my new place in town , definetly worth the visit.

We chose Luce for Ladies night and will definitely come back again. They really pay attention to the little things that make their food great and the waiter was very knowledgeable about wine pairings. BTW this place is not at all pretentious. And the service, well, go see for yourself...

This is a great addition to my neighborhood. A true Italian restaurant that I will be visiting quiet often. Their outside sidewalk cafe is so cool.
