I was pleasantly and very thankfully surprised that I had such a wonderful salesperson at Broadway Kia when I took my 4 yr old in today to buy a car that we had been looking at on the internet. Jim Hamman was our salesperson and he was phenomenal! Not only did he treat my daughter like she was #1 he treated me with respect and listened to what I had to say. It was the shortest and most pleasant experience I have had buying a car EVER! Jim Hamman was my diler he was grate. He got me water over and over. He didn't take down to me. He was a very good lesoner and He work very hard too get me the dill I wonted. He also didn't pass me from one person to a other. I injoyed my exspearens. I will tell all my frends to go there.

Jim had a deal worked out prior to our arrival and in no way did they try to alter from the price quoted. This was a great way to buy as I was able to spend over 6 hours contacting every Kia dealer from Tacoma, Washington clear down to Salem, Oregon and not a single one of them could give the same price Jim was able to give us. He honored the price when we got there to purchase and the time spend at the dealership was so limited. We were in and out before we knew it. I never thought I would ever drive a Kia, but I must admit that I love it. My husband and 8 year old daughter also love it as we no longer have to cram her into the back seat of a mustang. We will certainly be return customers.

We had no intention of making a deal today, but thanks to Jim Hamman, we are driving a new Kia Soul! He worked with us to get the vehicle we wanted at the price we wanted to pay. We are new Kia owners, having only ever bought Hondas. After a great deal of research, I settled on the 2011 Sorento EX AWD V6 and sought a model with minimal bells and whistles. Jim Hamman replied to my internet request last night and we drove away happy this morning! I wasn't planning on getting the model with leather, Infinity surround, panoramic sunroof, etc., but they had one and I really liked it. Jim and the floor manager made it so easy to agree to a price quickly, adding rebates and financing at a lower rate than our bank offered. We'd gladly recommend Jim and Broadway Kia to anyone!

Jim was great! I never personally met him but he stayed in contact with me inregards to my vehicle needs. When I did have the time to stop in I met with Larry. He was also super helpful. Showed me the cars I wanted to see and is very knowledgeable. Fabulous manager too. Derek came out and talked to me about what would work best for my father and I and was totally honest about financing options and the best way to go. HIGHLY recommend these guys!!

Mike, Paul, and Richard were Wonderful, Fantastic, Awesome! And seriously, when it comes to buying a car, I am hard to please. I was so apprehensive, I researched for weeks before finally coming in. Well I wish I would have sooner! Paul (the salesman) made me feel comfortable from the beginning. I told him what I wanted, told him I didn't want to play games, and what rate/sales price I expected. They all exceeded my expectations. I definitely didn't get 'phoney sales guy' vibes from any of them. Richard walked me through the financing without and ridiculous back-and-forth games. And the icing on the cake? Mike (Sales Manager) helped me install my son's carseat before we left (my son stayed at home). He has a two year old and was extra cautious making sure our seat was in right and secure. He tripple checked, explained the car's latch system and made sure I understood the dynamics of the new car. Which was awesome, because the reason we decided on a Kia Sportage was because it was so safe. I love that my family's safety was Mike's priority too. Overall, a really satisfying experience. I HIGHLY recommend the Broadway team!!

We bought our first Kia vehicle yesterday. This was our first visit to Broadway Kia. We had already spent time researching and shopping for the Sportage at other Kia locations. I like my Sorento but Broadway is definitely NOT the place to go! I was in the market for a 2011 kia soul. I called and spoke to several dealerships. Derek at Broadway Kia had offered me the best price out the door. I explained to Derek I had my own financing and i did not qualify for ANY of the Kia incentives and he said that i would still get that price that he quoted me. I even told Derek from Broadway Kia that another local dealrship told me that Derek would tell me anything i wanted to hear just to get me into the Dealership and then he would tell me i couldn't get the deal. What did Derek have to say about that? "No i will give the car to you for this price" (same as he originally stated)!................So here i go into Broadway Kia. Derek is there but he's in a meeting with the "boss". The salesman helping me dosn't know anything about the Deal me and Derek discussed on the phone. Long story short Derek says he cant give me the deal unless I go through kia financing (First thing i told him is that i will bringing my own money in). I tell him that i won't qualify for kia financing but allow him to check anyways and sure enough i didn't qualify. What happens next? He tries to sell me the car for $1000 more than we agreed to on the phone. Seems like the dealership i had spoken to earlier was correct and that Broadway Kia does and will play games with you! Oh and by the way the salesman the Derek placed us with defended Derek by saying the he's a salesman and that's what salesman do!!!!!!!!!! This place not only lost my business today but many of my co workers and Friends buy Kia's and i will fore warn them about these Salesmen and their tactics. I wasted 2 hours of my time today and a headache dealing with Broadway Kia. Buyer Beware of these people and their tactics. I do believe there are more reputable dealerships in the Portland area.

Well, who wouldn't be happy to get you out of the there, as quick as possible, after they ripped you off on the deal they gave you. Instead of saying after the contract is signed, well we don't know if there are anymore tickets left, you'll get them if there are. Well we didn't get any. Don't advertise something if you know you don't have any to offer. Believe it or not there are honest hard working people who deserve a fair and honest deal. Shame on you Broadway! My wife and I just got our new Sportage at Broadway, and I have to say, I have never had a BETTER Experience Anywhere!
They treated us with respect, and took the time to help us find Exactly what we wanted. They didn't play a bunch of games. They gave us a Great deal on the Sportage and a Great Trade in on our Toyota Rav-4.

Buyer beware! Please be less trusting and better informed than I was when I walked into Broadway KIA. I spent over $20,000.00 for a KIA Soul !, about $2,000,00 more than it would have been at other local dealerships. I was assured they could absolutely not go any lower in price and never had. Having issues with my present vehicle I purchased quickly and then did a little research (backwards?/yes!) I'm sure some folks are snickering and saying I got what I deserve, but do people really deserve to be ripped off because they are honest and expect others to be as well? Haven't made my first payment yet and this experience has really spoiled the car for me :-( My salesmans name was John Walker and his boss's name was Derek Benadum. Derek told me John got his big bonus with my sale, I was so happy for him I gave him a big hug, what a laugh they must have had at my expense, and I do mean "expense"! UPDATE - I contacted Mike Brownlee/General Sales Manager as requested, it's been 2 days now and I haven't heard back = big talk, no action. Time to contact KIA, BBB, AngiesList, Facebook,Edmunds.com, etc. I think posting some flyers and picketing the dealership for a boycott during the weekend would be good too. Hope to help others avoid my blunder. You gotta love free speach, it's brought many a conman out from under a rock :)

I just bought my new KIA Soul at this dealership and in the end they were great to wrk with - look forward to having it serviced here as well - although I hope not too often - KIA also offers great financing and it was a relatively quick and smooth process.

I discovered Broadway Kia on my way home from The Lloyd Center. It is at a very convenient location for getting my Kia serviced. The service manager was friendly and knowledgeable. The price of the oil change was less than I have paid at other dealerships. My car was clean when finished..no oil spots on the seats or dirty carpet like I've had other places. They even gave me a carwash coupon to use.The waiting area was clean and comfortable. I'll be back.
